How about the renters learn about laws. They signed the paperwork to rent the property and then they call foul when the term is up. Not quite fair if you ask me. The landlord held up his end of the agreement, why should he be penalized for wanting to make money?

The landlord needs to hire Guido and Vito along with their cousins and uncles to evict the renters who will not pay. Go into the house and pick up every single article which the renter owns and then gently place it on the curb. Even if the family has new born triplets! What's right is right and the renters signed on the dotted line. If they knew that hard times were going to happen in the near future, then they should have figured out how to lessen the pain. The landlord shouldn't have to shoulder the stupidity of dumb renters.

If you are young enough to spawn children, then you are strong enough to get two or three jobs to care for your responsibilities. If you are a young lady with two young children and your hubby splits the sheets with you, there are free lawyers you can get advise from on how to force the baby daddy to pay. There are child services which you can utilize to care for your kids while you go and get a job. Yea, it sucks, but folks need to realize that the government is not their personal piggybank. Nor is a landlord.

Our government has done a very poor job at educating Americans on what is expected as an American.

Keep your knees closed, get a job, learn a trade, and then marry someone who had good values. Then plan on a family. Don't get these steps backwards and expect your neighbors to help you out. It don't work that way and I sure don't have enough money to take care of a disfunctional government and a lot of my neighbors.

"These are low-income households," said Mark Zandi, chief economist for Moody's Analytics. "They've probably already borrowed as much as they can from family or friends. They have no resources left."

In New York City alone, tenants owe a whopping $2 billion in back rents.
