So, I volunteered at a vax clinic yesterday and here's how that went:

1. After ALL THIS TIME how can it be that people don't know how to follow HUGE blue arrows? How? They were wondering all over the place!

My job was to deal with people who were in line and tell them which vax table to go to when there was an opening.

2. Some people were just so grateful, others were angry and hostile. But.....here is the interesting part:

It was Pfizer, so the ages were 16 and up, so it was a lot of kids. I was talking to this High School girl and she was telling me about how her friends, who got covid are fucked now!

Many of them had "mild" cases, but now they have: lung scarring, heart trouble, can't make it up a flight of stairs without stopping! These kids were lacrosse players and just can't play as of yet! It's been months since they were sick. They are having all sorts of issues.

A whole generation of disabled people is coming up! A friend of a friend also got it and can't go back to work because of lung issues. 35 years old.
