You know why humans are so successful? It's because we share information. Making everyone re-invent the wheel is counterproductive and immoral.

It's like this. You work at a lumber mill earning $10/hour (say it's 1990 and thats a decent wage for the time.) You're a day foreman and the highest in command for the "shop" minus the "suits." Suddenly mill owner dies of cancer unexpectedly it just takes him in the night. His son, a 23 year old punk now owns the lumberyard and he sits in the office of the man you once respected with feet on the nice furniture.
