I haven't been inside a building other than my own houses and and workshops, since March 12, 2020.

I use curbside pickup for groceries. I wear a mask while picking them up, and on the short drive to one of my homes, where I decontaminate them, in the garage.

I decontaminate them using stabilized hydrogen peroxide.

While doing that, I wear gloves, glasses, mask, and face shield.

I wear gloves when I get gasoline or diesel.

I wear a mask when I go pick up chicken feed, dog feed, etc., at my local farm supply. I call the order in, and pick it up outside.

Since the corona virus appeared, I have lived at my farm, growing a garden, taking care of my chickens and gathering eggs, hunting, fishing in my pond, exploring my woodlots, building sheds for my tractors, servicing my trucks, etc.

I will be caught up with everything in about a week, and then I am going to do some fun projects, like making some knives, longbows, arrows, percussion rifle and pistol, etc.

Can't complain. I am enjoying this!

I am not scared of the coronavirus. Just smart.

I know a couple of nurses in a major hospital.

My sister works at another one, in my area.

Covid-19 was a great traffic reducer. Not everything about it has been bad.

Honestly the only thing I've done through this whole thing is just wear a mask. Fomite transfer is really not likely with COVID if you look at the pragmatic studies. So far it's worked, I haven't had the virus to my knowledge. And I'm now fully vaccinated, so the concern is less. Still gonna wear a mask until community spread abates.

And most of us have been going about life as usual with just less crowds and have been fine. Its been a year so a lot of us should have been dead if this virus was as bad as they said it was going to be. And we’re not. Just no deaths from flu or colds. Almost all labeled as covid. Hospitals were always packed in cold and flu season. It’s just people didn’t really pay attention to it because the media didn’t hype it.

Kids should be exposed to everything. They should be digging in the dirt also. They get a good immune system then.

And then one day, IT catches YOU.

You are 53 years old. White male. Good shape. NO pre-existing conditions.

Two weeks later, you are in the hospital, can't breathe.
PANTING LIKE A DOG. Respiration: 75 breaths a minute.

You are fully lucid, really don't feel that bad. Just can't catch your breath.

You can't see anyone you love, only the nurses. They become the closest thing you have to a FRIEND.

You tell the nurse that you don't want to be intubated, you know it's a death sentence. She promises you she will do her best to keep that from happening.

A couple of days later, you suddenly worsen, and your condition rapidly deteriorates. You are panicked. You feel like you are drowning!

In spite of your wishes, they put you into a coma, intubate you, and flip you over onto your stomach.

Two days later, your condition deteriorates to the point that your wife agrees to PULL THE PLUG.

YOU ARE SUDDENLY DEAD, AT 53.

Happened last week, a friend of mine was that nurse.

Four out of twelve patients in her pod, DIED of the coronavirus, just last week.
