That being said, allegedly, delivery companies are spraying their cardboard delivery boxes with poisons that supposedly kill covid. Assume Amazon is one of them.

There have been reports of dogs cats and rabbits dying from chewing it, or sleeping in such a box.

I have always assumed everyone in a grocery store or walmart is infected with a deadly disease of some kind. And I mean before the covid pandemic.

I have always had a few people I let get close, the rest are considered potential carriers of Andromeda strain or worst.

One thing I noticed is people seem more determined to invade your personal space since this started and things seems to have been arranged to make it where it's hard to avoid them.

I did some of that before covid. Nasty looking bastards at the grocery store, some of them look like they are on work release... touching my stuff, yuck!

Plus I absorb bleach through the skin while wiping down the groceries. It's like swimming in a pool that uses chlorine.

I never decontaminated anything, and never saw any reason to; I figured the virus couldn't live on/in an Amazon box, or a can of Spam, or anywhere that was not inside a human host long enough to make a difference. So it was never part of my planning.

The only thing I did use sanitizing wipes on were the grab-handles on a city bus on the one trip I took on March 1. I let other passengers take wipes to sanitize their own handles and seats, and we joked about how if we hadn't already been killed by bus germs, the Covid probably wasn't going to get us. Only one of us was wearing a mask. That was the last spontaneous joking I did with strangers in public, sad to say.

I did pick up Covid in the last week of February 2020, but didn't realize what it was until around March 7 or 8 (I thought the cough and shortness of breath was due to allergies, then realized I wasn't also having a runny nose, and then the cycling fever and fatigue started to hit). I was sick for about a month, but not seriously, and once I was over it I was all, "Fuck it; I'm immune now," and have taken zero precautions since then.

I still stay home, however, and only go out for groceries every 2-3 weeks, because people are crazy, and there's no talking/socializing with people out in public any more, so why bother?
