That portrait, in the original movie, which was painted by Ivan Albright, always scared the hell out of me when I was a child. That sickly sweet, little man, who was really evil inside, that played Dorian, scared me too. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 46960637 I don't know this but googled it. The philosophical novel seems very interesting |

I don't remember the scene with the thing coming out of the guy throat but I do remember a guy from x files that used to slide through pipes and eat peoples livers. You're thinking of Tooms from the X-Files, he could squeeze through vents and walls. Here's Badlaa Weird I don't remember that x files. What was the story with Badlaa? It was a weird episode, it doesn't really have a fluid story... an Indian mystic, Badlaa, loses his sons in a chemical plant explosion and he starts killing people, starting with that guy. They never actually explain any connections to the people he's killing, you could assume they have to do with the chemical company. COVID IS NOT FUCKING REAL, WW3 AIN'T GUNNA HAPPEN. TURN OFF YOUR MOTHERFUCKING TV. [link to youtube.com (secure)] [link to youtube.com (secure)] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78142951 "Help me!" I wouldn't look at the TV for days after. Thanks for introducing me to that I wont sleep tonight now. It does seem very well made. Is the original fly as good or better than the 80s fly? No joking but I took this photo of what I almost walked into last night. I walk on the roads from now on away from trees and shrubs especially at night it freaked me out so much. I was never really afraid of spiders till this. [imgur] [link to imgur.com (secure)] |

What do you people think it is doing to your mental health. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 75538070 I live here and I've never understood horror programs. I've never watched them or allowed my children to see them. Why put fear into your life? I don't have the time or the crayons to explain this to you. Slake Blake |

I don't think Id let my children ever watch tv if I had them. But as the ER guy from Donnie Darko says maybe children need darkness for their natural development i was about five or six when Mother made us sit down and watch holocaust films at home.something was on tv and they showed horrifying pics of pits of dead people, the starving ones, the abuse...it was early seventies, btw. idk why she made us watch them but i came away feeling terribly scarred inside. i would NEVER do that to another human being. it was so awful but i learned people are not nice. people WILL kill you, no matter your age. do not trust anyone. |

User ID: 80037081 Finland 03/07/2021 08:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | This: [link to en.wikipedia.org (secure)] There I was, age 5, sitting on the Flokati rug in front of the b/w TV news, my favorite teddy bear in my arms. Totally unprepared and defenseless. Something inside went blank with instant shock. Will never forget that moment. "Was that real, Dad? Was that for real?" Then there was the Biafra War. But seeing a man staggering by in the background with his lower jaw blown away, while the news reporter talked to the camera didn't faze me anymore in quite the same way. Blasé at the ripe old age of 6. The Cold War and the daily threats of nuclear annihilation quickly became a non-point in the decade thereafter; a thing of normalcy. Now I'm old and maybe a bit less naive. I understand, that crisis is the only way a conspiratorial government can ever thrive. Harmony brings their hidden agenda to a stop. :( |
