This fire swept through huge livestock grazing area's thousands of cattle literally burnt up. A man was trying to kill the cows that were on fire he ran out of bullets. Millions of deer elk birds squirrels raccoons etc all burnt to death. Saddest fire event I have seen in a long time. the fire last year which burnt up I 5 was horrific but it did not kill like this Bootleg fire has done.

The area where it started is land which has been sold to lets say undesirables to a degree. Many are pot growers, druggies.. there has been a forest fire started every week since the end of April out in this country due to carelessness. This one I will guaraned damn teeeee you was started by one of these low life dirt bags.

Not to say there aren't alot of good people who live out there what I am saying there are a GREAT many who aren't.

Horrific report & deliberate attack on the food supply as well. Cows on Fire is an absolute inhumane atrocity. They heated up Oregon quite a while before this attack... Outrageous!

I have not researched, but suspect DEW? It seems California has been the “Test” & now it has been extending to other states. If there are days when it’s as hot or hotter in Oregon, Washington & Idaho, than Arizona in June or July? Hmmmm? “Weather Warfare”

Agree 100%. Many dysfunctional people buy a few cheap acres and put a trailer on it, cook-up some meth or pot brittle and due to their clumsyness start wildfires. They really should go back to the city they don’t know anything about living in the country and being good stewards of the land.

I have been watching the OR fires closely. Some good resources:

Hopefully these go through and are useful.

Yep last year a arsonist I got to interview said the fire department encouraged him to start it.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73982968

Wth?! Really?... why?

Did you record your interview?...

That is bizarre if that is true... thousands of lives put at risk including the livestock, forestry etc...

They love it, it's all about future budgets, hence their "let burn policy" We learned this in person in NM in 2012 during the Little Bear fire.
They let that fire burn (started at 1/4 ac) for 5 days, then the winds kicked up on Friday night and burned down the entire White Mountain Wilderness area and 244 homes /structures. The Smokey Bear ranger district asshole that determined "let burn" stood up in front of the county commissioners and burned out folks and said he would make the SAME decision again, they promoted him to another position in AZ to get him out of the village

Glad it's not near me. Prayers and sympathy for those in harm's way.

I also have to point out that this fire makes everyone else in the region less safe as far as fires. Because a lot of resources is being sucked out of the entire Pacific Northwest to fight this particular fire. (Including cruise from my local fire department.) If another fire breaks out in your or my backyard. There might not be enough manpower and firefighting resources to take it out easily.

With the extra growth of green stuff this spring and the blowtorch high 110s weather, which killed a lot of grass off. Not to mention the tree apocalypse that came from the ice storm that dropped a lot of limbs and trees on the ground, which are nice and dry and flammable right now. A good chunk of this state is ready to burn.

Let's just hope mother nature and antifa forget to light more fires.

And dripped some kind of oily chemical at night to get them to burn more easily. It was in my water troughs, on my vehicles, killed a fruit tree and I felt it falling at night, no clouds in the sky.
