Chewy Sent Me Roses | |

I posted on GLP and you all helped me with terrible grief. I had been ordering expensive special food for my boy for several months from chewy and when he passed i called them to see if I could return the recently delivered $85 bag of unopened dog food. Not only did they have it picked up at their expense, but they sent me a dozen roses and a sympathy card. It has been about 10 months and I thought not all corporations are money-grubbers and since I don't do Facebook I thought I should post here at this special time of year when we think about our blessings. For all of you who have lost a special buddy this past year, take heart as we shall see them again. I share my flowers with you.  |

I had and have yet no other pets to feed, so there was nothing in it for them other than human compassion. I can never replace him. They knew I was broken over his passing...they did not have to even pickup the bag of dog food and credit my account. I prefer and do believe it was an act of human kindness...which we need more of. We can and should recognize those roses as such and try to see there is good in this world; not everything and everyone is bad. That is one reason I am sharing the story. . |

Gamestop has recently opened HUGE distribution centers in key locations in America. Upper management from Amazon and Microsoft have also joined Gamestop recently. Not only did the CSR stay on the phone with her for almost an hour, they sent her daisies and called about a week later to see if she was okay. My dog died the weekend before Thanksgiving. I haven't had the energy to face taking him off personally. |
