Picky yes; but I personally look through hundreds of resumes to find a couple to interview. Most do not qualify / fit the need -- just my experience. Not a software issue.

Companies are real picky on the workers they hire, at least in the trucking industry. I'll use Knight Refrigerated out of Phoenix, AZ as an example.

I have worked for them in the past and they do not want to hire me on as over the road truck driver with a perfectly clean driving record and experience. The reason they gave me, after much prodding, was that I've been out of the workforce for too long. Which is a lame excuse by all accounts.

There is more going on here at the corporate level than any company will admit to. This whole supply chain disruption is being orchestrated by the companies who are largely controlled by Vanguard, State Street and Blackrock.

So there isn't a driver shortage at all, it's just something they like to throw into the "news" cycle from time to time to explain why you can't get your stuff.

The last time I drove for Knight, in November of 2020, I was making 43 cents per mile. You cannot really live on that, if you have normal bills like a mortgage and car payment.

Not like that. Business is desperate for anyone with a pulse. By design, we moved to places outside of the filth progression, and they still can't find able bodies. They aren't waiting for LBSKDLFSDKJSLD fairies or degenerates to apply. They're waiting for anyone with a heartbeat to apply. Although, I do know a few places that won't hire anything degenerate.

But that won't happen, because most people are all fucked up or dead. It's time for these corporations to reap what they sow. Close that CEO to employee wage gap.

A lot of low skilled, low wage workers probably make more on unemployment than they do working.

Depending on which state and which job, a lot probably don't want to deal with the mask, testing and vaccine mandates either.

Best thing to do is learn to work for you yourself, and/or generate your own income, or work under the table.

That way you don't have to deal with the mask, testing, or vaccine crap, and don't have to be dependent on the government.

We have a low birth rate which is not good for our population growth. It is probably due to boomers retiring and not enough young people able to replace the retirees.
