On the beaches of Europe you can always tell the British as they have tattoos everywhere and most women have the tramp stamp.

You're putting too much emphasis on the physical world and the body. It's just a skin and it can be beautiful from all kinds of perspectives. Look for the beauty in the world instead of keeping on this habit offinding the bad in everything. You can teach yourself how to see the good and the beautiful. Tattoos are graffiti for the skin of ghetto people of very low educational level and questionable morals who are regulars of jails, prostitution rings, druggies and other trashy behaviors.

That is just nonsense. The practice of tattooing is thousands of years old with the oldest evidence of human tattoos believed to be from between 3370 BC and 3100 BC. Since it has YET, even after THOUSANDS OF YEARS, to become "unpopular, totally uncool and dated" and since nowhere has it YET BEEN said that those with tats are social outcasts, when exactly do you think that will all happen (it won't) and who would even care (no one)?

There are tattoo conventions where thousands upon thousands participate and countless awards and accolades recognizing tattoo artists and their work are presented all over the world every year. You may not like or approve of this type of art - and that is your prerogative - but I guarantee that, as an art form and a profession and as a business - it is going NOWHERE.

The majority of people who get tattoos - especially those who get full body and facial tats - don't do it to be popular, cool or trendy and could care less what others think about it and why should they? The artistry is often unbelievably beautiful considering it's done freehand with a need and ink on human skin. Tattoos are a form of expression and the meaning of each, to the person who receives one, is typically very personal. Are some tats distasteful and even scary looking (jailhouse and gang tats, etc.)? Of course, but that goes for anything else we see in modern day society. So what? And for those who have random tattoos and now buyer's remorse, there are ways of removing it so that's no longer a problem.
