Hey, my 1940 Chevy had a wind up clock in the glovebox door. It didn't work so I took it home and pulled all the gears out and cleaned them. It was solid rust from being in a junkyard for 30 years. It worked so well when I put it back together that it ran fast and gained about 5 minutes a week. I kept it on my nightstand. The car never left the junkyard but I kept the clock. I was 14.
