Turn them into more secure prisons than they already are.. Good idea.

This is all just to lockdown the kids even harder.

The town has a population of 16,000. Apparently the small police force was not ready for something of this magnitude.
 Quoting: nutmeg

They were ready to attack any parents who tried to save their children.

Uvalde literally had a school shooting drill at the high school 2 months prior, and one of the teachers slain - her husband conducted the drill

Thread: Uvalde high school had active-shooter drill TWO MONTHS before deadly shooting yesterday
 Quoting: Just An Observer

The reason why so many false flags are preceded by drills is b/c the Perps construct the response used in the drill to train the cops in a way that insures they will fail against the actual tactics that will be employed on game day.

This is also why the drills happen in close proximate time to the shooting, so the cops will still have memory of their training and will react on script.

Or they could lock up the lunatics in the booby hatch so the rest of us don't have to worry about them.

This guy dressed up in women's clothes and was apparently arrested for threatening to kill kids.

He belonged in a mental ward.

Also get rid of the FBI because they always seem to be involved in far too many shootings.

And why was the door propped open right before the shooter got to the school?
 Quoting: Just An Observer

Any answer to this yet?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80291797

A teacher propped it open, this should be investigated

What are the chances one door is propped open and he finds it????

If I heard correctly the teacher was going to get her cell phone out of her car

The town of 16,000 seem to have just have a few police. They show 5 on their Facebook page! There were a lot more than 5 in videos that day. Perhaps they came from surrounding towns in the county.

Inside scoop. I worked with the guy who killed shooter at a golf course in San Antonio. He and his buddy got a text from a teacher so they got guns and showed up. Cops were arresting people and had locked the doors and were not letting anyone inside. They snuck past the cops busted out a window and went inside. Didn’t take them long to drop the dirt bag

BS

You're Saying a random civilian ran inside the school and killed the shooter?

If I was that civilian I would be on CNN MSNBC New York times, talking about it on Facebook

Zero chance

That would be let out of the bag instantly

They waited for nearly an hour...maybe hoping the shooter ran out of ammunition or something?

 Quoting: ~kpm~

Investigated for what? There's a hundred reasons to prop open a door. I know it sounds crazy, but a school shouldn't have to worry about a mass shooter getting inside just because a door is propped open. Don't start scapegoating this teacher when the system already failed a million times before and after the shooting started.

And to everyone else, stop with the armed security / more guns in school nonsense. We had two shootings in a row proving that tactic to be useless, on top of the responding police also being useless.

GOV. GREG ABBOTT: "The reason it was not worse, it is because law enforcement officials did what they do. They showed amazing courage by running toward gunfire for the singular purpose of trying to save lives.

Please vote this idiot out of office. LE is useless in these situations.

You know if the police are ordered to round up every child take them into the woods and execute them we DON'T want them to obey orders.

If they are ordered to rescue a kid we DO want them to obey orders.

Not so....

I'll find the link I just posted on another page or this one. Definitely lack of communication, but they didn't wait an hour. Police were inside.

Here:

By 11:53, 19 officers were in the school hallway, where they were told to wait. The Border Patrol tactical team began arriving at 12:21 p.m. but didn't enter the classroom until 12:50.....

There's a ton of research and real-life examples proving that arming teachers and having armed guards posted everywhere does nothing to help stop a shooting, and makes attending school worse psychologically for students. It's not a solution.

I'm so damn glad my school years were the '80s to very early '90s. We didn't have metal detectors or resource officers.

We just went to school. Biggest threat was tornado/fire drills under our desks or in the hallways.
