There is lots of people who have social problems with or without alcohol. With family, friends, girl friends, neighbords, and just about any living thing in this world. Many tend to blame everthing on the alcohol intake, hoping they become better human beings the moment they stop drinking, but, nothing about their philosophy, morals, bad habits, or hateful mind and crooked ways of thinking change. They are still the same idiots but, this time they do and say every thing sober. Their problem is not in the alcohol, but in their own crooked minds. They are just simple, violent and rude assholes, hatefull antisocials, narcisist, sociopaths, psychopats, and just plain idiots by nature and corrutp minds... many of them beyond help.

Not everything can be fixed by just quiting alcohol. It may porevenbt some accidents and Sure , some economic issues, but, only if you are poor, and some healt problems if you are sick or weak. But, nothing can be done to fix an allready crooked mind that is allready corrupt, by just quiting alcohol. Many will blame alcohol for all of the bad things some of their own, have done them or to others, but that is just an excuse to justify everything they have done and said their entire life, even before they started drinking.

Quitting alcohol is more dangerous than continuing to drink. Cancer comes AFTER you quit.

I did the same for 40 years (did drink a few beers at Christmas parties though) Kids have their families and 3 years ago reconnected with two old friends. Have a few beers or a few mixed drinks and and don't drive until the next day.

Learned to pace myself and when to stop, just like most everything else I do.

Alcohol is what keeps cattle being cattle.

Without alcohol, people would have already beheaded these oppressors of governments and financial markets.

Calling someone an alcoholic is just another box to put people in so you can hate them.

There are 2 exceptions to this, people who literally cannot tolerate alcohol without getting out of control, and people who just never liked drinking.

People who go on a crusade against drinking are the most dour, unfun, unfunny people ever. The Greeks drank, the Romans drank, our European ancestors drank. Most people who were cool ever drank. So deal with it. QED.
