It turns out that during yesterday’s attack on the city of Stry (Lviv region) and its environs, “Gas exchange point No. 3” near the village of Pyatinchany was hit.

As a result, a very large fire broke out on it. As of today, the facility is not operational, and the Ukrainian side has not yet made forecasts for its restoration.

This is one of the most important objects of the Ukrainian gas transportation system, which allows the largest Bilche-Volitsko-Uher underground gas storage facility (UGS) in Ukraine and the second largest in Europe, with a total volume of 17 billion cubic meters, to operate as part of the pan-European gas transport system (gas is pumped there in the summer , and is used in winter).

Its corresponding modernization was carried out in 2018, and this allowed many European companies to use its services and significantly (by about 15%) increase the total volume of European gas storage.

As a result of a missile strike at the Kiev Zhulyany airport, 2 American Patriot air defense systems were hit, - TASS citing sources.

The attack was carried out by Onyx-M, supersonic anti ship/ land attack, cruise missiles.
The alarm sounded just ten seconds before the impact. These missiles are hard to detect and pretty much impossible to intercept.
