Maybe pointless thread, but who else has still NEVER gotten sick this entire pandemic? | |

Lots of allergies and usually get 4-5 colds a year ending in a sinus infection. I got the original strain of covid (although never “tested” positive) back in March 2020, which became long covid and took me months to recover from. My body has never been the same and I now have autoimmune issues. BUT - I haven’t had a regular head cold in 2.5 years which is unheard of for me. Did covid make me immune to corona viruses? Lol. I don’t understand it. Colds all my life and then I get covid and no more colds. Weird. |

Fever for a few sweaty restless days, then I was back in full dick swinging fashion. Quoting: A Concerned Denizen I remember the Swine Flu of 2009 very well, as it is the last time I remember almost being ill. I was in a band at the time, we were all around ~17-18 years old, sharing beers/cigarettes/joints etc... everyone apart from me was ill and had kidney pains, was sneezing/coughing with a heavy chesy cough etc... one evening after practising with them for hours in a city practise room I noticed I had a tickly throat forming, so I consumed a fair bit of raw garlic, raw onion, extra virgin olive oil, and lemon juice (maybe some ginger too), and I was absolutely fine, it destroyed all of the viral matter before it got past the earliest of incubation stages. Yes...2009. I had aches for about 6-10 hours. That's all. Voracious appetite. I had to laugh because it was called the "swine" flu. |

That's because covid is a made up fake garbage scam..we all know that already. They get all the regular stuff they've been getting for decades. SAME AS ALWAYS. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 19129098 It's actually eerie. What have I done to avoid covid? Nothing I don't take supplements, not even vitamin C. Of course no vaccine and no facemask. I smoke cigarettes and drink whiskey, eat whatever I want. And you? How often are you in public? OP never answered this question, did he? I will answer. The truth is, I am not around people that much. But it's been almost 3 years of pandemia so far, and I'm not a hermit. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 84241076 United States 09/22/2022 09:14 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I haven't had the flu since 1991. I did get a bad lung infection around 2005 that almost killed me, which required surgery and 10 days in the hospital. But other than that, I've had no other down/ill days in the last 31 years. I believe I have gotten infected with influenza a couple time every year, but the symptoms were 'very' minor and lasted no longer than 4-6 hours. This typically happens when I've visited my grandchildren during the winter months when the flu is pretty common. Those symptoms will come upon me 3 days after I've visited them. All that happens is my temp will rise to about 99°F, I'll feel a little chilled and sore. Then about 4 hours later that will pass and I'll have a runny nose for the remainder of the day. And that's it. BTW, I've never had a flu shot. No vaccines since 1979. No ongoing health issues other than an occasions sore back. I've had a few sinus infections in the last 10 years that required antibiotics. I don't even remember what it is like to have the flu except I recall it was difficult to sleep because of plugged sinuses. I'm 65 now btw. |

I drink, smoke and eat whatever I want. ZERO medication, vitamins or supplements. I’ve also been intrigued. I do believe the wonder and intrigue comes from the constant media and social media propaganda compared to reality. It was always a setup and a lie. But who knows. I'm not a doctor; I don't have patience. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 2112080 Even cuts and scrapes heal faster. It's not just that my immune system is stronger, all the normal pathogens and virus that we normally are exposed to ate weaker than normal. They have perfect Petrie dish hosts on the vaxxed who have next to no immune system. I think there's something to this. The microscopic thingies that normally make us sick are shifting around and refocusing to new targets. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 84010874 United States 09/26/2022 12:54 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Only 23.5% had had COVID by Oct 2021, almost 2 years after SARS-CoV-2 first emerges. 28% reported having COVID between Oct ‘21 and Feb ‘22 when the highly transmissible Omicron took over from Delta. So, only just over half the respondents have ever caught COVID at all. 10% of those that caught it were asymptomatic. Of the symptomatic, 92% had mild/moderate symptoms (57% mild, 35% moderate) and 8% had severe symptoms. In other words, 3% of all respondents reported asymptomatic infection, 14% mildly symptomatic, 9% moderately symptomatic and just 2% severe disease. Of those that were symptomatic, 89% were sick for less than 3 weeks. Most symptoms included tiredness, cough, aches, fever, loss of taste/smell, difficulty breathing and diarrhoea. Only 1.4% of those reporting COVID infection were admitted to hospital (0.4% of all respondents). Of these, 20% did not need to stay overnight, 55% stayed in hospital for less than 3 days (0.2% of all respondents), 28% for 2 weeks or more (0.1% of all respondents). 71% of those reporting COVID infection supplemented with vitamins and minerals, mainly C, D, Quercetin and Zinc, in addition to Ivermectin or Hydroxycholoroquine. Across the entire range of disease severity, there was a substantial bias towards hospitalisation of those who did not supplement [link to metatron.substack.com (secure)] |

A few days later I started with a fever. For 2 days I had a temp of 105F and vomiting from just drinking water. On day 3, I took myself to the hospital because I was worried about dehydration. They gave me fluids, anti sickness medication, pain killers and sent me home. I was still ill for another 10 days, but at least I could sip water. They wouldn't treat me until they had done a COVID test, which came back positive. I never had any cough or breathing difficulties. Because I hadn't been vaxed and I wasn't wearing a mask they stuck me in a side room on my own. The doctor wore an N95 mask, face shield, apron, and gloves. The only people I know who've had COVID are the vaxed. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83296224 There should be a scientifical study done on how smokers are faring. There were threads about smoking and COVID early in 2020. Smoker wouldn't be as affected because of ACE2. There is a link between cigarette smoke slowing down the rate of infection. |
