Not to distract from your point, but you actually can opt out of social security. It’s just not advertised. You can call the social security office and tell them you want out. They will revoke you SSN and you need to then get an ITIN to replace it for taxes. You no longer pay into it and you will get no benefits from it.

Also, the fines are no longer there for not having ACA, so that is effectively optional now too.

Okay, one side wants Individual freedom under a systems of laws, passed by consent, that recognize and protect natural rights.

The other sides want the community to come before the individual, feels their ends justify the means, and that freedom is what is left over after the community has made demands

What is the centrist point of view? There is no way to integrate these views as a matter of principle.
If an individuals rights can be negated by the community in one situation, what is to prevent that from happening in all situations?
