just my two cents but i would think it highly unlikely that you would bump into a drone with a fighter jet on purpose to bring it down. the damage you cause to your own aircraft might be enough to put it out of control causing it to crash or at the very least suffer costly repairs. if they brought it down they shot it down. but at least they tried peeing on it first with jet fuel which was a mostly peaceful gesture.

In all honesty, I'm surprised Russia let those drones to scan Crimea and the entire Black Sea, and relay the information to Ukraine in real time, all this time.
Those drones were involved in this war from the start.
They were involved in the actions on Snake Island, the sinking of Moskva, in the attack on the bridge and many other terrorist attacks in Crimea and Black sea.

Those should have been taken down in the first day.

all true. you would think they would've prevented the intelligence gathering from these a long time ago but were obviously reluctant to escalate the situation. they have absolute superiority in the air having taken out radar & command & control installations in Ukraine in the first week. that's why the idea of supplying jets to Ukraine makes no sense. none of them would last ten minutes in the air. as this drags on I'm guessing they may start to do what is necessary to push the ball down the field.
