Anonymous Coward User ID: 18341822 United States 06/29/2012 11:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Hopefully, someone knows how to read this or can identify the "object." Quoting: einsteinsfly Scroll down to the blue images, the one on the right, Stereo Behind is the image I'm referring to. Click on MPEG and Diff MPEG to see more images of it. What is it????? [link to stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov] image of Diff MPEG [link to stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov] image of MPEG [link to stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov] Venus [link to stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov] is your friend Einsteinsfly However even the REAL VENUS is not that large and so that is an ICON representing where Venus is assumed to be by the people. [link to stereo-ssc.nascom.nasa.gov] is also your friend, it is obvious it (if real, its not), would be there in view of Stereo b. stereo b is also showing a cme. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 18341822 United States 06/29/2012 11:26 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The big bright one? the object to the left is the sun having a CME. Both Stereos are in their own halo orbits and thus the images change based on where they are in their halo orbits, ditto Soho. Halo orbits are 1 million miles in diameter which changes which part of the sun is seen in those as the satellites move in their halo orbits. to concept the halo orbit, hold your arm in front of you with a fist of your hand. your body is the orbit around the sun the satellite is in. now move your arm in a circle. That is the separate halo orbit of the satellite. This may be the CME on SOHO you are seeing on HI1 behind. (blue) [link to sohowww.nascom.nasa.gov] |
