I sleep on the couch a lot. Not because of snoring.

Thankfully the davenport we bought and paid for in May or June of last year has finally arrived in the store and ready to be picked up back in the valley.


I stumbled on this yesterday and found it comforting that others share my feeling about being woken/kept awake while trying to sleep .

I told a friend rather recently to never get involved in a long-term relationship with someone unless you know for sure, whether they snore.

I wasn't more than 12 when I absolutely saw Billy the Kid's/Enlil's point of getting mad enough to kill/destroy humanity for keeping him from sleeping.

Humans are endlessly loud, obnoxious and annoying. Rarely grateful, never stop complaining are rarely satisfied and prone to acts of irrational violence, every moment of every day. Sleep is the only respite some of us get from the constant noise and ugliness.


I've known this about myself ever since, so what do I do to avoid it? I avoid people and situations that make it more likely I will be woken up when I'm trying to sleep.

Don't purposely mess with people while they're sleeping or you may find yourself on the other end of irrational rage.

Point is, once you can accept why God/Enlil/Billy the Kid might wage total destruction in order to sleep, and realize you might too, you can find the reasons not to..such that you are not surprised by your own potential for violence.

Anyone can be driven to kill, it is finding the reasons not and staying out of situations where they might come up.
