Almanor is the big one, way up in the mountains. A large reservoir, over a million acre-feet. If it busted, it would fill Oroville half-way. It is the topmost reservoir in PG&E's 'Staircase of Power'. The little lakes and dams below it are insignificant in comparison.

fwiw ... the cities of Southern California are still getting their full draw from the Colorado River even with the shortfall in Colorado River water coming out of Lake Mead (Hoover Reservoir). 1.2 million acre feet a year is still being pumped UPHILL to go though the tunnels and pipes and concrete ditches linking the pumping stations along the river to LA County /Orange County /San Diego County.
