Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68797102 I wasn’t with him. He only went to ER. They’re dolts. They don’t tell you anything. Why didn’t they take blood? Why not x-ray the knee? They’re dolts. He’ll know more once he goes to rev Dr next week. |

Also rejection of the knee, although he’s had them 15 yrs. isn’t that a long time before rejection? Last Edited by DNoMo Michele B on 05/26/2018 09:57 PM |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76555216 knee slowly getting painful, weak, and eventually i couldnt even lift it to climb steps. Considered the most likely source of transient bacteremia might be related to a bad tooth. Took the appropriate antibiotic, and the pain that had been coming on slowly and progressively for 3 weeks went away overnight. I kept at it for 3 weeks and then got a joint aspirate culture which was negative. The doctor thinks I'm crazy to think I had a prosthetic infection, and I think he's wrong. Look into bad dental bridge or partial denture situation in hubby and if suspicious treat for subclinical oral flora bacteremia, because it can happen without the fever and overt signs of sepsis. Full dentures, but they irritate. Maybe... |

(OP) User ID: 343534 United States 05/26/2018 10:04 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My husband had been having pain in his knee. He has artificial knees, so he thought it was failing....Well, anyway, he started having a pain in his knee, thought it was the implant. But when he finally couldn't stand it anymore, went to Dr. today. Turns out he has this blood infection. Quoting: Deplorable NO MORE Michele B Last time he got this blood infection, he had "symptoms" - a high fever, chills (which is a symptom of sepsis). Apparently, it came very close to being deadly last time. He had to have 10 days of intravenous antibiotics...anyway, he's got it again.... Anybody got any ideas WHY he keeps getting this? This actually may be the third - or fourth time - but first two weren't as bad, and antibiotics took care of it easy. Second time was the intravenous. Now we caught it earlier. But my thought is, WHY does he keep getting this? Anybody got anything? Hope my advice may be helpful, OBTW you're not THE Michelle B, by any chance? Umm, I don’t know who you think I am? |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76555216 United States 05/26/2018 10:11 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Net he has Lyme or other Tic based illness. Maybe Babesis. It lives in the tail bone like Small Pox. It will live there forever....unless you kill it. Lyme comes out every 5 months or so, depending on age, immune system, habits, diet, sleep and stress. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 35676288 Small Pox hangs out for decades then surfaces in some people in the form of shingles. It is low cortisol or stress induced. Many biological toxins like Lyme burrow into deep tissue, the spine, tail bone, hip sockets, but loves to come out every few months (after it builds up in numbers) and attack joints. Particularly people with joint issues. Just just need a place to live because they grew too many in their tail bone colony. You can take Doxy, but you will need to supplement the good bacteria afterward because doxy kills that too, leaving people with gut issues for half a year afterward. Combined with Doxy, get a infrared lamp. Clamp on, add a 250w bulb, place it 20" from the tail bone two to three times a day. I would move it up and down the spine. It will kill everything living in the spine tailbone. Hit the knee too but watch for inflammation. Doxy will take care of the bits that run off into the blood organs. Afterward or during, hit the sauna as much as possible to drain the toxins (dead Lyme or whatever) "waste" out of the lymph system. Personally, I would never stop doing that protocol. Earth is pretty nasty these days. You dont know shit. Doxy does not kill bacteria, it's bacteriostatic, not bacteriocidal. In addition, Babesia are intracellular and the doxy doesnt get inside the cell. Smallpox and shingles and heat lamps to ones ass? Really? Do tell us your credentials.. |

I had an idea that it was something more under the surface.... Our doctors in this “hick town” don’t really give two hoots about searching for root causes, but I’m going to push to look for the cause. Meanwhile, I DO have colloidal silver, and boron. And possibly a pool he can get in (have to check if it chlorinated or not). Some of the other options, I’ll have to see if he’s willing to try... Thank you all very much. |

Look into oxygen therapy (esp. H202) Eat some raw onion daily (anti-bacterial) Add a teaspoon of baking soda to glass of water daily (ph level) Plenty of fresh salad/fresh veggies These are not cure-alls but may really help. cost is next to nothing. parasites/diseases shrivel with basic Ph levels and high level of oxygen. they thrive on acidic Ph levels and low oxygen. Also with knee/joint pain you can take chilled hemp seed oil Keep visiting with doctor and get antibiotics if necessary obviously. |

Saying the lymphatic system is compromised is like saying your car sounds like its running funny. It doesnt actually mean anything of significance. One thing you arent aware of is that the immune system is naturally slowly shutting down with aging. The various mechanisms are becoming less efficient with age, naturally, its programmed decrepitude. The various hormones which mediate this are tanking and making the system functionally deficient with advancing age, and underlying disease states such as diabetes amplify this. It's no exaggeration that aging is literally aging intending to lead to death. Some of these pathways can be manipulated for a while, some cheaply, some at considerable expense. Most doctors do not address this nor will they attend to it honestly. There are a few people with the credentials and professional ethics to honestly counsel for strategies for reversing decrepitude and even then, the complexity of the system makes it impossible to promise anything. Most of the time all you will get is someone providing overpriced overpromised potions with no proven potential other than potential for huge profits for the provider. |

If you need an imaging study of some sort the most relevant is a radionuclide labeled white blood cell imaging study. The simplest is a joint space aspirate and culture, the best is a DNA analysis |
