I am a strong believer in First Amendment rights. That being said, I believe in kindness, which for me, trumps everything. Just because something is permitted doesn’t mean it’s advisable.

This all boils down to treating people how I want to be treated. Do I do this perfectly? No, but I try to keep it at the forefront of my mind.

I think that across the internet there are those who type anything that comes to mind, and many of these things are unthinkably horrible.

Sometimes these are people who are nice in real life, which makes me wonder if some go around faking the niceness...or maybe the internet serves as a venting place for them.

I say start venting to your two closest and trusted friends who will listen without judging you. Give them the same opportunity and listen while they vent their frustrations.

I would imagine that only a minority of the aggressive posters are mean in both their daily lives and on the internet.

Finally, you can make your opinion known without calling people fucking assholes. When you personalize things by name calling and other bullying facts, people stop listening to you and you’ve essentially lost your voice. Isn’t the First Amendment about having a voice?

B: He is saying that this refers to various events in American history, and some events to come. This is one of those quatrains with several interpretations. He says the house refers to the White House. One of the associations with this quatrain, one of the things he was seeing that he did not bring out very strongly, was the events of Watergate. The reason why he didn't bring it out very strongly is that the quatrain is associated with other events that seem to be more major and more important. Over 50 years ago, the US still existed within the framework of a more rational, sensible, humane society. So even the leftwing was forced to deal with that. But creeping social, cultural, political liberalism/leftism since that time has turned America in 2019 into a Yankee version of Mao's China or Stalin's Russia.
