Hey @Tesla. I love my new Model 3... but now the app won’t refresh, won’t let me sign in, and says I have no vehicle. I’ve been on hold for tech support for an hour. Is my new car a red brick already?

why do people fall for such an obvious scam as unlocking yore car with an app???? get a car which uses "keys", like cars have used for the last 100 years. it works.

the scam encompasses so many levels..

the phrase autonomous car? we already have them - we control them.

Teslas etc are remote-controlled "cars"

Tech will always fail you eventually, usually at a most importune time. Being caught by surprise only means you are too careless to prepare for the inevitable.

I don’t care for Tesla, but if the company provides alternatives and the owners don’t take advantage of them, that’s on them. Same reason I take my house keys with me every time I leave the house, just in case the power is out and the garage door doesn’t work.

You can't really buy a Tesla. You just buy the rights to touch it, drive it, ride it. When you sell it, you have to tell Tesla, and they will give those rights to a different person. And you can't take it anywhere to get repaired except Tesla, and they can charge anything they want for any repair. They can deny charging, access, anything. And they can steer your car into a semi if you post stuff they don't like on GLP. Forget that they track your movements --- every word said in those cars is computer voice recognized to ascii and added to your file.

or they can lock you in the car and send a signal to the computer to overcharge the unstable lithium batteries

causing the car to explode while you're in it...
