And thought struggles against the results, trying to avoid those unpleasant results while keeping on with that way of thinking. Anonymous Coward User ID: 71614805 United States 10/05/2019 05:48 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | One about marie antionette and i wish i knew the name. It was at a labcorp or quest diagnostics when they made me go for the pregnancy diabetes test. You stay there a while because you drink sugar at intervals and they draw blood. It was gripping. Some of it was her words as well as other facts the author had gathered from documented stuff. Once i got to the mind fck they pushed on her, about marrying france, and straightened her teeth with a wrench and no pain relievers- all in the name of being readied to be a "queen" and not just the princess she was born as i was gripped. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78034869 You have inspired me. I might even call and see if that book is still at that lab in the pile. I hated to part with it. Everything was baby at the time and then time flies. I am trying to find it on my own. It is possible it is this book. [link to www.goodreads.com (secure)] |

Then there are at least 20 films to compare after that. It's hard to choose newer books to read since I never read all the great books. Crack War and Peace, then you can lay claim to having truly READ a book. I still have to do that one. To many others to name, including before BC. |

User ID: 8919838 United States 10/05/2019 05:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Crime and Punishment. Anna Karanina. ANY Tolstoy or Dostoyevsky. Classics are classics for a reason - because they're THAT profound and well written. A little known book that I read that was mind blowing is Leaves From a Russian Diary, which is a first hand account of the horror that was the October Bolshevik revolution. It's jaw dropping and I cried. My favorite writer is Kafka because his writings were mind bending! From the Metamorphosis, written from the perspective of a beetle, to The Burrow, written from the perspective a burrowing animal, to The Trial, about a man charged and on trial for something the state will never tell him what it is, he was master of the surreal and very funny, too. Last Edited by thinking... on 10/05/2019 06:00 PM In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined: With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world, And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor. Then will I wander godlike and victorious through the ruins of the world And, giving my words an active force, I will feel equal to the Creator. “Looking for consciousness in the brain is like looking in the radio for the announcer.” – Nasseim Haramein, Director of Research for the Resonance Project |
