001.

Serious question here for myself, that’s been on my mind and not sure you’ll even know.

I’m immunocompromised as I take a TNF blocker, Humira, to treat Psoriatic Arthritis (and I’m only 31 *sad*).

Am I totally fucking screwed if I get this ???

I am on a government oversight committee that meets at the CDC several times each year. During the Ebola Crises in 2014 I was given a personal tour of the Emergency Operations Center and got to meet with the epidemiologists who were in the field in Africa.

The folks I usually work with at the CDC have all been detailed to the Emergency Operations Center to work on the coronavirus response.

We maybe found the potential 🦠 orgin host of the #Coronavirus - the pangolin. A virus strain isolated from it has 99% March with 2019-nCOV. And it was found previously at the market.

Re: Coronavirus Intel Clearinghouse
001, I asked in the other thread but it got lost...
How exactly are the tests done to confirm a case of nCoV? The case from London, Ontario is a woman who tested negative, went home and stayed there, then after retesting results were switched to a weak positive.
She never showed symptoms, and there's no indication that she went back to the hospital for repeat testing. All articles I've found just say "results retested he switched"... I don't understand the process but I find the language around this case odd. Sad you're not Canadian, was hoping you'd have more insight on the Canadian protocols but I value your insight regardless.
If they re-used the initial test/sample from this patient, for the negative result, how would it be turned in to a positive? Would this put other negative results at risk of being false negatives?
And if they had to call this patient back in for a new round of testing, can you speculate as to how this team became suspicious of this case after declaring it negative?

Re: Coronavirus Intel Clearinghouse
Not that anyone particularly cares what I find interesting, but I've picked a few such quotes from the post on page 1 of this thread of 001's posts from the main nCoV thread.

Part 1

"If they reveal everything all at once, mass panic due to speculation and rumors will make ALL efforts of treatment and prevention absolutely meaningless."

"We do not assume in my industry. That does not bring a repeatable result."

"Manipulating a virus outside its natural routes reduces stability, resulting in unreliable results in the real world. You may end up having the barrel pointed at you instead of your target."

"All treatment in hospital will be SUPPORTIVE, not COMBATIVE."

"The stark reality of viruses, requires spread before true knowledge can be gained. In between spread and prevention is what my lab has been tasked with."

"If you need reasoning, educate yourself on available case studies by my colleagues at Lancet, showing ground glass opacity and other lung damage early in virus onset."

"Symptoms are what you have been warned to watch for, they will be subtle and minor based on what we have seen. But you will notice a shortness of breath VERY fast, that is not common. You WILL know if you have this."

"In my field of work, 'God' or nature, does not hide things. It works in absolutes. Man works in the way of hiding things."

"They [CCP] are simply attempting to keep WHO and CDC from pushing so hard to get in."

"The Presidency comes with many things, one of which being full control if needed. Only requires a single signature by his pen. Same signature that signed the directives our labs are following here in the US."

"The liberal mind will be the death of us. States will have to act accordingly."

Re: Coronavirus Intel Clearinghouse
Part 2

"It does contain proteins from HIV responsible for decimating your immune system which is why sepsis is an issue present with 19NCOV."

"Its a possibility influenza may hinder ncov. But due to the proteins present from HIV, it will decimate vulnerable immune systems, quickly allowing one of the two to cause sepsis, among other severe outcomes."

"I do not speculate due to 19 yrs in a field of work that requires you to deal in certainties."

"We need real world spread and symptomatic data."

"The likely hood of contracting influenza at the same time is dependant on if its currently an issue near you. It would cause serious issues in my opinion to be infected with both."

"DNA is so diverse now worldwide, that being able to target a "race" is next to impossible.... There is no "pure" dna left."

"N100 in close proximity, outside 6-8ft, n95 is enough. Sanitize often and keep your hands off your damn face."

"Expect no country that wants to be considered among the most powerful to provide accurate reporting at this time.
China was #1 and has fallen down. Now its a fumble play you are watching, who can hold the facade long enough."

"Tests do not look for the whole sequences, but mere pieces. If say the piece the test looks for is mutated in a transmission, in theory, the new strain would now be invisible."

"Containment means you all go in a fema camp and wait. Economy dies, people die, government is demonized forever."

"They allowna few to die due to delayed testing, possibility of spread, but we find treatment? You hate the government for 3 months til some other topic arrises."

"They are merely buying me and all my colleagues nationwide time to get ahead of the curve. Once the cats out, its out. You cant take it back"

"I signed 3 seperate ndas to be involved in this program. The only reason this info is here, is because I have been here as an AC for a very long time."

"You can only move science so fast."

"I say we have a mere month to find efficient means of treatment before things get risky due to the current strategy we are taking. (Playing coy to reduce public awareness to provide time)"

"If you experience fever, do your best to mediate the fever to allow your immune system to have relief as it will need it. The virus does target your lymphocytes and makes your level drop, contrary to what all other viruses except HIV do. No, the fever seems to be pre severe symptoms and carries on into the start of serious conditions. It is best to weaken it as fast as possible to allow your immune system to be even a little more prepared for what will follow the metaphorical "battering ram" of this virus."

You know when you question "Why are you doing that when we already know it doesn't work?"

Either the answer is you're dealing with idiots in authority, or the desired outcome they are going for isn't the one you think it is.

If

A) a high fever only becomes present when someone with the virus begins to have organ trouble, i.e. becomes serious,

+

B) if people are being screened for fever...which they are at airports, borders, in some quarantine cities

=

The answer to "Why are they fever screening when it doesn't screen for the virus or help with containment, it only tags severe cases?" is:

C) we are past containment, they are simply doing triage and trying to target the cases who are going to need emergency treatment

Prove me wrong.

But with 19ncov, it may be aiding in causing a cytokine storm, this is unproven without live data, but is a theory we are bouncing around between colleagues.

Again, this is 100% unproven without further testing, just a hypothesis from a fellow here.

-001
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78402365

Oh but it has been proven in LIVE DATA in fact in a journal you mention, and on the 24th January 001!

The Lancet

"Early studies have shown that increased amounts of proinflammatory cytokines in serum (eg, IL1B, IL6, IL12, IFNγ, IP10, and MCP1) were associated with pulmonary inflammation and extensive lung damage in SARS patients.22
MERS-CoV infection was also reported to induce increased concentrations of proinflammatory cytokines (IFNγ, TNFα, IL15, and IL17).23
We noted that patients infected with 2019-nCoV also had high amounts of IL1B, IFNγ, IP10, and MCP1, probably leading to activated T-helper-1 (Th1) cell responses. Moreover, patients requiring ICU admission had higher concentrations of GCSF, IP10, MCP1, MIP1A, and TNFα than did those not requiring ICU admission, suggesting that the cytokine storm was associated with disease severity."

[link to www.thelancet.com (secure)]

Noted here in a very prestigious journal I am sure you are a paid monthly member of recieving and is sitting on your coffee table of the lab?

The Lab Magazine go to for most who work in Labs?

[link to lab-a-porter.com (secure)]
"THE LANCET’s recent publication entitled “Clinical features of patients infected with the 2019 novel coronavirus in Wuhan, China”, described the correlation of cytokine storm (high levels of circulating inflammatory cytokines) and the severity of illness in patients infected with the 2019-nCoV (2019 Wuhan Novel Coronavirus).

Huang, et al. noted the clinical course of the 41 hospitalised patients infected with the 2019-nCoV and categorised them who did, or did not, required treatment in the intensive care unit (ICU). Those that were admitted to the ICU, particularly those with severe disease, exhibited significantly higher levels of inflammatory cytokines compared to those that did not. This “cytokine storm” can trigger a viral sepsis in coronavirus infection, where viral replication and excessive, uncontrolled systemic inflammation can lead to pneumonitis, acute respiratory distress syndrome, respiratory failure, shock, organ failure, secondary bacterial pneumonia, and potentially death. This same correlation between cytokine storm and severity of illness was observed previously in both SARS (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome) and MERS (Middle East Respiratory Syndrome) patients.

Currently, an inactivated SARS-CoV vaccine is in clinical trials in China. Safety is the major concern for this type of vaccine (12).

Recombinant vector-based vaccines expressing full-length S protein of the late SARS-CoV are under development. They reveal that there is no containment intended, this is a novel virus and NO one has immunity. It has a chance to end your life, and it is highly infectious, so more will die due to medical service overloading.

Now youre all rioting, and my lab finds effective treatment or a way to prevent it harming you to the point of death.

How do you stop the rioting and organize and now hostile population? You dont. You call in FEMA under national security protocols who will be authorized to use lethal force to tame the situation."

That is what the hoax-tards aren't getting. This 2019-nCoV might otherwise have a low mortality rate if there are enough medical services (most importantly ventilators) to go around. Once those are used up and an exponential amount of people become infected the mortality rate will skyrocket. What about all the people necessary for the continuity of the supply chain? How many truck drivers here in the US are just going to head home and hide out because their jobs aren't worth losing their lives over.

This virus will be the crescendo of this perfect storm that has been brewing here in the US for the past few decades. I hope not but maybe we'll finally see a president declare martial law and fire up the Fema camps many have warned us about.

If you look really closely you can see a doctor dressed in the new medical camouflage scrubs taking the temperature of a passenger...the doctor gives them the green light and they aren't incinerated. Totally normal in judeo-communist CCP.

Re: Coronavirus Intel Clearinghouse

Besides myself, I have two other family members who will be with me if we choose to self isolate...I already told them that it will be for the long haul, as when we do get terribly ill, we will not be able to even go to hospital which is approx 25 miles away.

We will choose to die (if it comes to that) with eachother than to do it elsewhere like a trapped animal.

That being said, I will pretty much be the first to go, as I was born with TB. It is in my body. A doctor years ago told me the good news that if my TB was to ever go active, I can ease my mind that I am not a carrier, I am a converter. Meaning my family (as far as TB) are safe, but that disease will chew me up extremely rapidly.

So, I am very well concerned about this shite going around, knowing I myself may not do well at some point soon.

I have left hardcopies manuals that I myself put together for my family in regards to survival, defense, evasion (very vital) and lots of other info, as when something happens to me, my knowledge and experience will be gone.

I suggest any of you parents out there, to gather some good hardcopy info especially for your kids to have. Instead of just toys and games for the kids, if your families need to isolate, TEACH THEM simple sewing, cooking, etc. so they can at least have some knowledge on how to manage things if and when you, the parents, succumb to this virus. SERIOUSLY teach your kids some important stuff, and don't push it under the rug, like it's gonna go away.

The worst thing you can do is leave your kids without any means to try and survive or continue on the best they can.

But with 19ncov, it may be aiding in causing a cytokine storm, this is unproven without live data, but is a theory we are bouncing around between colleagues.

Again, this is 100% unproven without further testing, just a hypothesis from a fellow here.

Oh but it has been proven in LIVE DATA in fact in a journal you mention, and on the 24th January 001!

He was responding to my question re: fever friend or foe and why the difference compared to usual illness. Yes we know there is a cytokine storm that is causing complications with nCoV. MSM hasn't talked about the cytokine storm at all that I've seen, and while it's being mentioned in some journals, how to prevent it isn't being focused on. Prevent the cytokine storm and potentially you prevent at least some of the complications.

That sentence taken out of context was responding to the fever possibly aiding in causing the cytokine storm - but this is unproven and just a theory.

I myself have an extremely hard time believing that the fever would be good to suppress - but still am appreciative of hearing ideas whether they're right or wrong. Most of what we have at this point - when it comes to our own actions and assessing our own risk, are nothing more than ideas. We only know right now what we've been allowed to know - which is very little so far as I'm concerned.

So ideas that allow for new points of consideration? I see them as beneficial regardless of whether they're right or wrong. Maybe something correct and helpful will come out of even initially wrong ideas - never know.

What you are being told publicly is not what is being discussed privately, and the private discussions are much worse than you can imagine.

Putting this here for consideration: [link to patents.google.com (secure)]

Is this being investigated for use with the nCoV? My laymans' understanding of this is that a component of it breaks down the protein coating around the ebola virus - which is also an RNA virus with a protein coating that allows for increased infectivity before the immune system recognizes it, and allows the immune system to clear it while also allowing people to develop immunity.

Since nCoV seems to share similar traits in being able to go undetected initially while it builds up to a critical mass in the body, perhaps this may be beneficial?

Side note: I don't look up patents regularly - is it showing today's date because I accessed it today, or did something change with this today?

Re: Coronavirus Intel Clearinghouse

Quoting: TlvmmCpoft

Ever since I heard that the incubation period is so long, I’ve thought that the temperature checks are, like everything TSA does, just security theater, meant to make you feel like they’re doing something but not even remotely effective. Adds to the idea that containment is not really the goal and they’re just buying time.
