Trip to the grocery store today not good

At Smart and Final they set up a barrier that forces people into one line and has markers 6' apart showing where to stand. At Trader Joes they have a line outside, only allowing in a few people at a time.

Staples Office Supply in Fort Worth had employee outside offering to shop for people due to 10 people max in store at the time, I had to wait for peeps to leave..

Lol this is hilarious because it’s a false sense of security.....it doesn’t stop anything with the exception of people coughing or sneezing directly on you.

Cvs has them too, and the pharmacy was covered in plastic but has a slit for them to hand things through.....

My store set the hours for zombies 2am to 3am, and they're limiting the amount of cow and monkey brains zombies can buy.



I personally think this is a bad idea, because they will conflict with the vampires.

Went back to store for first time in a week to get milk and some fresh veggies on Monday 6 a.m. Fry's (Kroger's) open for seniors 6-7 a.m. Wore mask and gloves. Was one of the first in the door. For being so early I have to say the aisles were fairly poorly stocked except for cookies and chips. Meat was fairly well displayed in the case, no butcher meat just prepacked.. Asked one of the stockers (known her from before the crisis) if they were getting any more flour. she said it was literally hit and miss as they just don't get what they ask for from the warehouse.

The frustration on her face and the checker's was palpable.. don't know if they will start rationing folks in and out but it makes some kind of sense... pray, prep and protect...
Oh, won't be going back to the store again, ever... dry milk next up on the menu and whatever stocks we got in the pantry...

I was just at Tops and Walmart yesterday Fredonia, NY didn't see anything like that. Was planning on going to Wegmans in Hamburg today or tomorrow. Will keep you posted if I see anything.

It's good to leave enough space between cars so that in case the guy in front of you stalls out you can still pull your car out and get around him, not get trapped in line. Also, should some asshole rear-end you, at least you won't be a sandwich!

And after living through several earthquakes when I lived down in SoCal, I will not stop under an overpass if the light turns red, I'll wait it out BEFORE the overpass even if someone behind me honks. I saw cars flattened into Frisbees which happened to be beneath overpasses when the earthquakes hit.

Don't worry, once the farmers, food delivery workers, warehouse workers and cashiers, stockers all get the Wuhan Virus, the food supply will be shut down for good.

You won't have to worry about going to your local supermarket because it will be closed.

Already happening in Abilene Tx at the Walmart. Only allow 50 percent capacity in the store at any given time. You must stand outside and wait your turn. Stay 6 feet away from everyone.

We went to Smith's today. They have senior shopping from 7 - 8 am.
Got there about 10 to 7. There were people in a line. We waited til the door opened then we walked up. They only let so many people in & stopped the line. It wasn't that many people.

So we left & went to Walmart down the street. They had toilet paper & paper towels & eggs. All those were limit of 1 per cart.
They had kleenex with no limit and they had a lot of everything else.
Too bad they don't have organic food so we'll have to shop Smith's for that.

But Walmart was NICE and the people working there were real friendly.

Local Costco in New Brunswick Canada. No more than 50 in the warehouse at one time. You can't bring in reusable bags, and you are not allowed to wear gloves anymore. Bring hand sanitizer or wipes.

Cash register staff have a Plexiglas shield between them and the customer. No cash. Debit or credit only.

It's fucked up.
