Quoting: Anonymous Coward 76060129 Confused. You drink Margaritas at work? We don't normally drink at work. It's a small office and it helps us relax. These restaurants around us are selling Margaritas to go all day long since pandemic started. Now everyone is no longer stressed at work which makes everything easier for 8 hrs a day. |

Making $100 online at Zoom to take part in a mock jury forum on Mon too. I'm a member of a few Vegas Meetups. Some closed down but others went to Zoom for weekly meetings. All of them welcome anyone from any city or state, and all are free. Yes I can bring guests which would be the easiest way if you don't want to formally join Meetup (which is also free.) One of the Meetups I attend on Zoom is a now tri-weekly discussion group with a set varying topic. The host controls the talk so that no one monopolizes the time. Another is a 1/2 hour guided deep breathing workshop. Just found an online yoga group I'm trying out tomorrow based in CO. Respond if you want more info. There are many music performance groups that are now online as well. |

All my trips canceled and I got paid for every one of them. I bought a treadmill 2 weeks ago and have since clocked 80 miles on it from running. I made BBQ turkey meatloaf for dinner with wasabi grits. I'm toggling between Tucker Carlson right now, then All In The Family when the commercials appear. I love Archie Bunker. Love Tucker even more, dude really butters the bread with his anti-establishment jam....love it. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78478255 BBQ meatloaf? Never tried that one lol. Archie was awesome. I miss the pre PC days. I literally ran into Caroll O'Connor at the hospital when he was visiting his son. After that we waved at each other every morning as we were going to work. Put lots of kale stems, chopped onions, garlic, in a greased pan. Add a dab of olive oil, lemon juice, spices like oregano, pepper, rosemary, etc and mix. Place chicken thighs or legs on top. Dab with more lemon juice & spices. Better if you can grate lemon rind over the chicken. Takes about 45 min to cook but check at 30 min. Guarantee kale stems will not taste at all bitter. Salt before serving. Even better the 2nd and the 3rd day if you have leftovers. Just reheat in the oven or microwave. Found the above recipe by Googling what to do with leftover kale stems and cut the amount of olive oil but added more varied spices. Would probably work with carrots and/or zucchini instead of kale stems, or any other vegetable that can be roasted. |

User ID: 78781767 United States 04/23/2020 11:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Interesting... a little. Committed a crime against the family. Quoting: My Fear My parents have been out of town for the last month. My daughter was supposed to water my mother's potted plants. She was supposed to get $1.00 per pot every week. But, we kept forgetting to go over and do it. Yesterday they called and said they would be back Sunday. So, we ran over to their house to water the plants. Many were dead and many wilted. So, we made a quick trip to Lowes Garden Center. Thank goodness they had a bunch of plants on sale and on clearance freshly put out. We picked out the best ones all between $1.00 and $3.00. So, $30.00 later we returned to the scene of the crime and repotted a bunch of plants that look similar to what my mother had on her porch. My daughter watered each and every one of them well. I threw the evidence of the crime away back home in my own trach can. Do you think we will be caught? Should I let my daughter charge the weekly rate per pot? What do you think I should say if we do get caught? " Mom, I was at Lowes and I picked up several just for you, because I know how much you like flowers. Happy Birthday." LOL. Depends on how intimate she is with her plants. A flower is a flower to some people. I know my plants VERY well, can tell when my wife swaps pots around out of order in a heartbeat. Of course, carniverous plants a a totally different type of plant than run of the mill flowering plants. These aren't annuals, they can live on for DECADES if properly cared for. Yes indeed , to a plant person it's like letting the dog of an animal person die and running out to get another one, she will know "It's a friendly friendly world" (Andy Kaufman) Calm seas do not a sailor make, Nor easy horses, a horseman. When they stop laying eggs I just let them live out their lives in a luxury retirement for giving me the most nutritional food on earth. And God Bless You too! I love critters more than I ever will people... Yeah, I didn't anticipate that I would get attached to the chickens, but they are intelligent, at least as much as my cat. He is indoor/ outdoor, and everytime I go to weed my garden he just lays in the row. Animals are awesome. One of our hens is 9 years old and is still laying. Not every day, but at least a few every week. Her name is Spot. Yeah my chickens are too neat to kill, everything here lives out its life, but sometimes they go down in the ravine and don't come back, foxes. I was traumatized as a 6 year old having to pull the feathers out, even today I can get sick just thinking about it. The wild turkeys come in and hang out and eat cracked corn so the days are peaceful and nice. When you are feeding the household 10,000 meals a day, you appreciate the food supply chain even more. My chickens just a pet, she's over laying and I can't grow veges. Herbs and fruit I got. Wanted to do this anyway, but now we're doing it all at once. Two Nigerian dwarf goats, one is two years, away from a larger herd. The other, two months; we've been bottle feeding her. Got the first round of Dr morning her today..gotta do it in two steps because her horns are kinda big at two months old. Poor baby. Got two rounds of chickens living in a fucking bedroom. The teens are SO ready to go outside, but we don't have a coop yet. Chicks are selling out fast around here, so we had to get them while we could. Animals first then infrastructure. FUCK. It's exhausting. Thought we would have more casualties in the chicks. But we 've only had two. We over bought. Lololol!!! And the goats have scurvy now. Two city kids throwing this together as fast as we can. My little lap dog is SO glad I am inside and resting right now! We wanted to do this anyway, but not this fast!! Holy fuck!! It's working so far, but I am exhausted, and the house is trashed, as well as the yard.
