A widely reposted 2021 Facebook post claiming that the mRNA vaccines against COVID-19 could cause prion diseases was based on a paper by J. Bart Classen. The paper was published in Microbiology and Infectious Diseases, whose publisher, Scivision Publishers, is included in Beall's list of publishers of predatory journals. Vincent Racaniello, professor of microbiology and immunology at Columbia University, described the claim as "completely wrong".

Pretty much 100% of all new power generation installed these days is natural gas powered turbines.

They built a ton of them in the 90's, then gas got expensive and all the old coal and oil plants ramped back up into operation from just being peaking units that ran only on hot days.

The thing is, gas got cheap again in the past 10 years and in that time they decommissioned most of the coal and oil plants since so there's nothing to fall back on this time.

It's hard to prove but these figures surprise me litte. The vaccination rates amongst the most venerable are quite high in the UK. Well in excess off 80% of the 50+ age group as noted here: [link to www.bbc.com (secure)] . Taking that in consideration the simplified correlation that is noted in the original reporting by theexpose.uk :

"This is because the Public Health England data shows that 1% of all cases among the fully vaccinated population have resulted in death, with 1,613 deaths occurring among 157,400 cases.

Whilst it also shows that 0.28% of all cases among the unvaccinated population have resulted in death, with 722 deaths occurring among 257,357 cases."

Is mindshatteringly dishonest. Yes there are more deaths in the vaccinated group, and even though that might suggest that as theexpose.uk puts it: "the case-fatality rate among the fully vaccinated population is 257% higher than the case-fatality rate among the unvaccinated population according to the Public Health England data." That only works if we take those numbers in complete isolation. The vaccine is not perfect, none has ever been. A vaccine is not a cure it provides a advantage to the immune system. The data provided ignores a few significant considerations that should be made before any conclusions can be drawn.

A) Distribution among age groups - It would be nice to see if there is a difference in the median age of deaths. As stated above vaccines give a boost to the immune system, if you start low there is so high you can go.
B) The assumed numbers are going with Case Fatality Rate (CFR), not Infection Fatality Rate (IFR). This can be deceptive as the difference between a Infection and a Case is detection, asymptomatic cases have been eluding us from the start and are my current greatest worry. The fact that the CFR among the vaccinated is rising need not be a worry if the IFR is declining, alas this is hard to determine.
C) What the actual data shows us - The % of deaths of vaccinated vs unvaccinated stands by their figures at ~75%. Just comparing those numbers to the vaccination rates among age groups and from how I would expect deaths to occur among them, with the vaccine having no effect it should be closer to 85%-90%.

Let's hope the winter won't make things worse this time...

Yet again there have been excess deaths, fewer than half of which were attributed to covid. The trend of the last 10 weeks seems to be accelerating. There were 20% more deaths than the five-year average in the week ending September 10th.

LAGO, i figure within 5 years. at that point ,i think we can look at the vax and have a better understanding of who should or should not take it. what reactions are expected,which meds counteract with it,etc?

thing is if it was a great experiment,not everyone got the same formula. u may see a state or small nation have different outcomes than others. it can b debated as to what will happen with the formula that does work or if they found it.

If they are wrong, a terrible crime will have been committed against the USA (675,000 covid deaths) I am just letting a little bit of my frustration out, inasmuch as I cannot trust what I read. I do not fully understand most of the science behind the vaccines, but some impartiality would nice. Total armed forces of the world was 27,642,295 in 2018. Additionally, conservatively, there are about 59 million in the global health workforce (2006), the vast majority of which are all vaccinated (I have many acquaintances in both fields and none of them have had long term side-effects from being fully vaccinated). Would we not be seeing large numbers of vaccinated people dying worldwide if any of the anti-vax message was even partly true after nine months?

where do i begin? are we seeing deaths of those ppl? at what % would it become noticable? there is a thread already on missing ppl including workers. why are there so many job openings supposedly when there were huge layoffs for lacking materials?we have heard of similar issues with pilots,truckers,etc.

honestly, i am not out enuf to give much of an on the ground report.just cause TV and some things look and sound normal doesn't mean reality is. if u are out there every day, it might b way different. even i with making shopping and errand runs noticed some issues. the bank outbreak. the AZ incident. have heard of 2 others that were odd. the medical places hiring and the post office failed to deliver mail for over a week to 1 or 2 local zones.could have been 1 but what are the odds that 2 ppl from 1 area were both in PO at same time? medical places supposedly hired ahead of the virus. so should have extra workers. it is upside down from reality.

metro cities have had issues. garbage pickup was in trouble in Baltimore.word was this happened at a loss of 25% of the workforce. that is just 1 piece of a puzzle. if it is 25% across other work sectors,that is a huge # of ppl, and that is just 1 city. if we take that at 10% up and down the I-95 on the east coast to just cities,it is astronomical. there were other cities noted with differing services including the ports. and those were before the mandates for shots. so they did not quit over that.

it is surprising to me that we individually do not know more that have died or even gotten very ill from the V or jab. the virus is spreading but not as dangerous as it was to CHINA. how do i put this? it is not as deadly, we saw and it held at 45% in early 2020. it isn't making ppl severly ill quickly. at least not enuf to cause overwhelming the hospitals. shutting a school down for 5 or 10 very sick kids out of 1,000's isn't what i call a pandemic.

do i believe it is over or that vaxes are working? no. even if i did, it would not change my strategy. with the GF's health, we would still b at duck and avoid it.

there is a very possable explanation to it.the virus attacks depending on genetics. we don't have this info to tell who or what gene or trait it hits on. but it would explain why it takes some down and not all. why it hits a family and kills all but leaves other families untouched.

what i can say is what i have from day 1. if, and we all know by now, this is a Bio-Lab virus, then it can and should mutate up. there is a chance, likely 1 from what we have seen thus far, that the virus will mutate up and b deadly or cause sever illness to shut down the hospitals. normally virus mutate down to b like the flu. this 1 won't do that always.

it only takes 1 bad mutation to ravage the world. with everything open as it is, what would happen if it became as deadly as EBOLA? how many would b sick and dead before they knew what was happening? 50% or higher? by the time u saw someone bleeding out their eyes and ran home,u most likely would b carrying it to your famuily. if it .speculated already, damages brains. in a short time, everyone with it starts losing critical thinking. this would lead to accidents not just cars but workplaces as well. more fires,more shut down factories,etc. would take lots before it was noticed and a study to prove it was related to either V.

as it is now. at minimum. we are all CHINA now. where CHINA wore masks daily due to outbreaks of odd disases such as pig or bird flu and SARS, we are all there now. we can no longer see it coming and keep it out of our nations. it is here in our states and towns. at any day, the virus can mutate badly and cause major outbreak of something far worse instantly where u live. it would start killing or making ppl u know severely sick quicker than the local news would even know. welcome to the new era.

Well personal data point.

Got my results from scans, looks like i got a good dollop of MS going on.
Was not a huge surprise as had warning signs 12 years ago, but still a kicker.

So now have the option of drugs that destroy your immune systerm and hope covid dont get you, or try to keep the MS under control and hope COVID dont hit me too hard.

Dr pushing get the vac, asked him to show me the studys or links to them based on this group of people. Funny he never have an answer lol..

Intresting to CC point about mast cells, i also think i got a mast cell issues, which im slowly getting under control, using a range of methods.

No mistaken the liaisons its MS.
But what is causing the MS issues, is it the mast cells makeing the MS worse, or the MS making the mast cells worse.
And was it covid infection that kicked off the mast/MS issues.

So many questions that will never be answered.
