Yep! During the Soviet's Artificially Induced Great Famine of Ukraine many decades ago things were not too bad for the first year at least. People had enough food stores even after the Soviets came in and ransacked everyone's homes for their foodstuffs. However, after that first year that is when mass starvation became a thing. After a while of mass starvation cannibalism became a desperation thing.

I remember hearing a quick tidbit in this documentary about this very same topic one of the last survivors of that time frame jokingly said, "Ever had baby meat stew? It's really delicious from what I hear!". The old man interviewed for the documentary admitted he never had to resort to cannibalism. He foraged throughout his nearby forest for food. He lost some friends due to them eating the wrong mushrooms, berries, and/or other stuff. He survived because he learned from his dead friends' mistakes.

However, seeing as how Corrupted the United States of America both as a Country and Corporation has become I wonder just how fast and how many Americans will easily succumb to cannibalism within the first five years of the Great American Famine caused by the Illuminati themselves. When America succumbs to cannibalism I wonder will those of us who stay sane and never indulging in cannibalism will we be viewed as horrific monsters then summarily hunted down with great zeal... then our corpses or still breathing bodies consumed as soon as possible by those same cannibals.

You may think me to be stupid and/or worse for bringing this up in my above paragraph. Just look at how incredibly so hypocritical and Corrupt so many people have become so far. It is not a far fetched idea to figure the Americans who become cannibals will wind up teaming up and become one of the most horrifyingly powerful groups of humans on Earth in the not-so distant future.

You will give a crap when you and/or your friends have been shot and killed, blown up, and/or worse for simply "sampling" such nuts and/or fruits during the Great American Famine. Those will be the consequences for those who dare to feed themselves and/or their families.

Overhead buthershop or local market they don't carry items that don't sell so they have less waste to make up. If your rural look into getting your veggies from the farmers. I have local Amish. I can get 2 bushels of various corns, peppers, onions, peaches apples etc for about 12$. I can buy a quart Mason jar of local honey for 6$. Pint containers of fresh spices for 1$. Supermarkets aren't very super after all.

I recently got back into cooking from scratch and re-discovered how much fun it actually is. It helps that I'm cooking vegies just picked from my own garden! Spending a half hour in the garden pulling a few weeds, watering, is very therapeutic, and preparing a delicious meal using the squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, carrots, parsley, fresh corn, is a pleasure.

Everyone should have their own back yard garden with perennial berry bushes and a few fruit trees. Just a little time spent outside and you can be harvesting nonstop zuccini, summer squash, speggetti squash, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, blackberry, rasberrys, strawberries, asparagus & artichokes all of which are perennials.

Toss in a few 10' fruit trees you can purchase for $80 a pop and you now have pears, peaches, apples, cherrys.

The only people bitching about food prices are the ones with a home with a flat stupid looking yard with just grass growing with all sorts of chemicals poisoning their ground and their children to keep weeds away so they can look at just one species of grass.

If you ever get sick of the weeds buy yourself a weed tarp, it's very cheap breathable fabric that rolls out inbetween the rows of veggies and prevents any weeds from growing. After hte grow season you just roll them back up and put into storage can usually get 2-3 years before they get too many holes. Costs me about $80 to cover my 4000 sq ft garden rows so around $25 a year and cuts down on my weed pulling by about 90%

Park rangers will not be going to work. A more likely scenario is you get killed by someone else who is foraging so they can steal your berries.

Get an ice cream maker and make ice cream with the kids. It's pure ingredients and tastes 5 times better. It's cheaper as real ice cream is horridly expensive.

Chill the gear ahead of time to get the cream to harden faster.

The gov't handed out $1,200 but the other 94% went to corporations, so I said the real cost of that money was about $20,000 that we would pay back in higher costs for goods and services or through higher taxes because the gov't has to pay back the federal reserve.

The math is simple: $1,200 divided by .06 or $1,200 times 16.67. Either way you get pretty much the same result: approximately $20,000, not counting interest.

When the money supply is increased everything costs more because when is an increased supply of money competing for the same - or lesser amounts - of goods.

Corporations pass along any taxes they are assessed by increasing the price of their goods to consumers. Thus we the people pay for the money loaned to the corporations.

I hope you know, Sol-tari, having a farm of any kind which includes any gardens in the city is forbidden in apparently every large city in America.
