Anonymous Coward User ID: 79103398 United States 09/22/2020 07:37 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Great job. I lost 40 pounds last year fasting. Three or four days at a time of just drinking water. Took about two months. Maintained for six months. Life got stressful and I fell back into eating too damn much. Put 20 back on. Two months ago I started back on an old P90 workout I have and started eating one meal at night. Down 13 pounds as of today and pretty much effortless. Long fasting really works but any stress makes it incredibly hard. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 76483437 United States 09/22/2020 07:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i'm around 225lbs 6'1 tall i want to lose about 10 more pounds... but its hard, the body doesn't want to let go of the last few pounds. Quoting: DoomGymRat I am in caloric deficit and exercise... need to lose that last bit. It's funny how it works, you're going great then hit a plateau. And it's tough to ounch through but once you do the weight starts coming off again. Last year when I did this I had a real tough plateau at 210. This year I punched right through it then hit one at 206. No idea how these things work. |

Long fasting really works but any stress makes it incredibly hard. I did a 4 day last at the end of last year during the holidays. I had to stop; I was so dizzy. Timing was not great. I got diarrhea afterwards, but my hair looked great. I think next time I will pick up some electrolytes. I want to fast to nuke some bad karma. |
