Jazzz....

Have him try the MAss air flow sensor.... it won’t always throw the code, but that’s been an issue the past decade.

Our Nitro is not running so well, either. To make it worse, our good mechanic closed shop.

Ahhhhhhhh!

I wonder how the parts supply chain looks?

Idk, but we bought one of the last 3 gallons of wiper fluid in town on Monday. Hopefully, the truck had more that afternoon. Doesn't help all the snow is melting.

Oh. That’s. Just. Muddy.... ewwww. We have that issue too.

My friend was here already.... and Zeph has circled the wagons while the pizza bakes.

And I didn’t have to make dough! Oh. My. Mink!

That's kind of what happened to ours on the way home from the dr. We were about 3 exits from his office and it started to lose power. After a bit, it seemed better. We made it home ok and it's ok for now. Just not driving very far right now. Don't want to get stranded.

This inflammation after the fact..... it’s concerning. And will it keep reoccurring.... similar to shingles and other similar ones?

New state data shows there are 302 reported cases of MIS-C statewide. That’s up from 176 cases in January and 157 in December. “There have been reports of children dying from it. There have been reports of children having to have their arms or legs amputated, and it can affect the heart very severely,” said Dr. Dean Blumberg, chief of pediatric infectious diseases at UC Davis Children’s Hospital..... [link to www.kcra.com (secure)]
 Quoting: Lago

Yes, it’s only another 100 MIS-C cases.... but it proves we need better hospital metrics to be watching for the other longterm issues caused by this virus.

L.A. County COVID-19 hospitalizations hit three-month low while MIS-C cases climb

Less than 50%

“This increase in cases is a distressing delayed result of the surge we experienced in December and January,” the Public Health Department said in a statement, adding that most children with MIS-C were infected with COVID-19 at some point before their diagnosis.

Symptoms of MIS-C include fever that does not go away and inflamed body parts, including the heart, lungs, kidneys, brain, skin, eyes or gastrointestinal organs.

I really think the bias in the research is they were looking at the beginning MIS-A and didn’t know it.... so a lot of adults are going through surgery versus being treated for MIS-A....

Yeah...Im am wondering about something. Lets see if the GLP Kitchen Sink Think Tank can suss this out:

I have antibodies. The best data I can find suggests that antibodies have a 73 day half life. So, Occam's Razor dictates I caught the virus again sometime in the past 3 months or so. But! Butt...

I wonder if I reactivated. And if so, could a recurrent infection cause new antibodies? Like, the first time in early 2020, I got sick, developed antibodies and beat it back. Antibodies fade, virus lays dormant. Them reactivation, immune system gets to work producing new antibodies, you get the idea.

Anyway, I admit that my Masters is in Fine Art, so can someone more qualified explain what moran I am?

Most of these come from the Herpesviridae family. And have triggers.... for example... hand warts.... that virus never goes away, but when stress hormones are less, the virus goes into its latency cycle.

Re: Sars Cov 2 … the grinder continues to eat away at resources and humanity.
Hi guys. I hope you don't mind me popping in. I apologize from the bottom of my not working so well heart for messing things up last week. I hope y'all will forgive me for what happened.

I won't be posting too much for awhile. I had my dr. appt. on Monday and there is concern that congestive heart failure has finally caught up with me. I'm waiting on an appt. for an echogram. It's been checked several times over the years, but because we moved so much and changed dr's everytime, I've fallen through the cracks. Our military insurance, Tricare, isn't helping either. The closest PCM is 2 hours away in another state. It's been very hard and this week, it got harder.

I have to find specialists here that will take our insurance. So far, we've been lucky with that, but I have a new list I have to search for. Everything about our insurance is online now. I wish I could talk to a person again. We just had to make it 2 more years healthy and then it wouldn't be a problem. Hubby would be officially retired, on SS and Tricare would be secondary.

It didn't used to be a problem finding doc's here, but they've changed the rules a few years ago. They don't count Cleveland as a base anymore, so we drive farther. I wish they'd let us go to Cleveland, but it's just a bit too much too far, I guess.

Anyway, thanks for letting me hang out. I hope I'm still welcome, but I understand if some don't think so. If nothing else, I'll still be reading. grouphug
 Quoting: Texan Buckeye

Buckeye, I am baffled. It was my understanding that military Tricare healthcare insurance was the best available in the USA? My son has been paying into this system so that he can retire after 20 years in the Navy with full healthcare insurance and a pension for the rest of his life, are we wrong?
 Quoting: Lago

Hi Lago. It's ok, Tricare is confusing to most of us at least half the time. You're right and wrong at the same time. Tricare is really good if you happen to live near a base. We don't. I wouldn't call it the best in the country as it's coded along with Medicaid and Medicare. We've always been put into the welfare clinics. In one city, I never met my PCM. I saw interns and residents. I WILL say those kids were some of the very best!

Your son is paying into the retirement plan, most likely. I can't talk about that as it's so much different than what we have. My husband retired before that plan was put into place. Health care is a separate thing. Right now, your son doesn't pay premiums and his co-pays, if he has any, are much lower than ours. As it stands right now, if he keeps Tricare when he retires, he will have to pay yearly premiums. I don't know how the VA works as my husband isn't currently using it.

I hope that helps. Just tell your son to make sure he retires near a base. We did originally, but life got in the way when we had to move a couple of times since then. Your son has quite awhile to go, so I wouldn't be too concerned. He has good care now. Who knows what changes the gov. will make by the time he retires?

Oh, btw...it was World Book, not Britannica, that we had at home.
 Quoting: Texan Buckeye

Hi Texan Buckeye, thanks for the clarification. My sons base is in southeast Georgia but he purchased a house in northeast Florida! However, it is my understanding that he is only half an hours drive from his base.
