Regarding Democrats/liberals, we must realize that the are getting their news from filtered, suppressed, altered and weaponized sources, they still trust those sources because they tell them what they want to hear, no matter how big the lie has to be, and they will never consider that they are being played.

Democrats get their news from these so-called "reality-based" sources. You on the other hand have a differing view of reality. For you what is "real" depends on what the Yuge orange guy says it is. I kinda envy him. I've never seen anyone be able to take such an amount of people to be thralls to him. If the orange guy said up is down and west is east you'd storm the Capitol to make it so. Just like you did.

In other words an interesting political problem.

It isn't that he called me nuts, whatever. The terrifying thing is that there was no discussion, he didn't care about facts or evidence. He simply would not discuss. They have brainwashed much of the public into actually believing that open discussion and free thinking are bad, scary even. And, facts don't matter. I don't believe the virus is fake. It was lab created for a purpose we can't even see yet. I had it in November and it was the strangest illness I've ever had (I was a sickly kid,sooo). I had no fever, random cough (like something is stuck in your throat), migraines, severe fatigue, and tightness in chest at day five. My husband was a few days behind me. He had some different symptoms early on, but also had chest tightness at day five.

None of us lost sense of taste or smell. Hubs and I were taking the supplements recommended on here early on... vitamin C, benadryl, etc.

My only friends are my family. Easier to maintain this way. We're all on the same page although my father did get the vaccine and thinks everyone else should. He's about as republican as you can get but my family had covid already so it was a short discussion.

My mother I haven't spoken with in a decade. She's ultra liberal and insane. Quite frankly the most insane person I've ever met. I'm sure she got vaxxed for covid early on. I just heard she was diagnosed with lymphatic cancer. Doesn't even know what kind yet, waiting on the biopsy. I have no ill will for her I just can't deal with her and neither can anyone else.

Yeah I'm "biased" towards empirically verifiable reality. Also I'm "brainwashed" to believe my own senses. It's kinda hard to actively believe something you have no evidence for, so I'll give you shitload of respect for it. You have determination.

Your first mistake was ever being a demonrat. Good on you for getting out. Your second mistake tho, was taking his call. I've cut ties with ALL demonrats that were in my life before...including family. They are all hopelessly brainwashed and cannot be talked out of it. What’s with abandoning your mother, regardless of political persuasion?

Now she has cancer and you aren’t there for her? What if she left you on your own as a small child? What about her sacrifice to raise you to adulthood?

This generation sucks.

My mother is currently heartbroken over my sister- the middle child of five. My sister acted like someone with a constant and permanent pms problem all during our childhood. Without her, our household would have been chill and pleasant. Then, she grew up, met and married a liberal man and actually seemed happy and "normal" for a while- even though she and her husband has the annoying political viewpoints. NOW, she is having delusions about her past. She blew my mom's mind about six months ago when she told her over the phone very matter of factly- that she had been beaten by my father numerous times a week during childhood and had bruises and marks constantly. She said my mother just sat around while it happened. I grew up in the same household. None of us were ever spanked, much less beaten. We were treated kindly and given everything. It is so bizarre and my mom doesn't know what to do.
