Most likely, he spent all 3 days down there. Then he came back to earth, but had not yet ascended or been to the Father. Then, much later, he ascends. So why say, “today”? I guess a day is a year...? Would love some brotherly feedback here. Probably needs a good word study... Last Edited by REaliZe on 11/01/2021 03:57 PM There's. A. H0le. In. The. Sky. |

Do you think that’s air your breathing? |

Luk 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; Luk 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. Jesus went there to preach to the spirits of the people that died before the law came. 1Pe 3:19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison; 1Pe 3:20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. If so, then there's NO other understanding of what Jesus SAID and DID. I am a humble Servant of the one True Living God. |

And I saw thrones, and those who sat on them were given authority to judge. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed for the witness they gave about Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had not worshipped the wild beast or its image and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for 1,000 years. 5(The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. Happy and holy is anyone having part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no authority, but they will be priests of God and of the Christ, and they will rule as kings with him for the 1,000 years.
