Hey dumbass, its all the same. Cash, cards and checks are ALL FIAT. Cash has serial numbers on it, ATMs have cameras and banks know who you are when you withdraw. Its as simple as tracking the serial numbers. Crypto isn't trackable its traceable i.e. there is a history of every address that a crypto has been to. But that's by design and since crypto NEVER LEAVES THE BLOCKCHAIN its not trackable (Cash leaves the bank and goes in your hand). Dumbass.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82281965

they can easy track any crypto where anybody in the world can access the ledger. its just a few numbers, they can figger it out. and this "masternode" thing sounds like its even easier to track coz they can just go serve court documents on whoever operates the masternode and make them spill any details they have under subpoena.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82419335

No, you're just ignorant you should stop talking now. You sound stupid. The blockchain is ONLINE. Use a virtual private network if you're worried about tracking. It being "just a few numbers" is besides the point if there's no identifying information exchanged then those numbers are never tied to an individual, use your head dumbass.

Masternodes are decentralized and are governed by protocol, not by people, there's nobody to subpoena. A masternode is just a DASH full node that cryptographically proves ownership over 1000 DASH and continuous service to the network. They are servers that "report" to other servers. You can't subpoena a computer, and even if you could, it couldn't tell you anything other than the masternode at such and such IP has 1000 DASH and has been successfully running the network node software (which is all public information anyway).

Again, you sound dumb, stop talking.

Cash is tracked WAY MORE than cryptos like Bitcoin and DASH when you throw in ATMs, cards (debit and credit), checks, and other forms of payment. In 10 years nobody will even think about cash because of how onerous and controlling it has become. It will only be cryptocurrencies. And among cryptos, DASH is the only one with instant transactions (BTC and other coins like it make you wait 1 hour per transaction for full confirmation). DASH's masternode technology allows transactions to be FULLY LOCKED AND CONFIRMED within 1 second. Making DASH the only cryptocurrency with secure, instant respendability. A required feature for anything that wants to replace cash.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 82281965

Didn't DASH lose about 70% of it's value during the past year? What's it at right now? Lowest it's been in years. Like low? lol

I'll wait for a better option. Yeah, Bitcoin is really attractive right now. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?
 Quoting: Lorena Bobbitt's Knife

It doesn't matter, emotional torture is not a response to a good argument. In fact its proof you don't have one yourself so thanks! Price is completely irrelevant. DASH declining just means you can get more cheaper, you clearly don't know anything about investing. DASH is the FIRST coin besides BTC and the only other one besides ETH to organically rise to $100 and over $1000. DASH was the first alt-coin to organically grow to $100, $200, and every hundred dollars up to $1600. DASH started at 40 cents so that means DASH has provided more than 8000 times ROI. You can keep waiting, because you're stupid. Do us all a favor, read more, type less.

So your argument is, Losing my ass in an investment is a good thing because now I can buy more of the investment I just lost my ass in

Back when I blew up at my bank (long story) what stood between me and all of those paychecks that I deposited over the years was a clerk and a bank manger. They may have not realized what a dangerous position they were in.

I often withdraw decent sums from my bank here in New Zealand, 10K+ at a time. 4/5 times they ask me what its for and i just say, buying a campervan.

Last time, the teller politely suggested it might be safer to do a bank transfer and i explained that when trying to get a deal and that cash makes for a more powerful negotiation tool because the sight of stacks of $100 bills with rubber bands around them go further than just verbally negotiating.

They've released my funds every time but if i had to jump through hoops i'd probably be going ham like this guy.

just wait until all money is digital on a government blockchain...this will be common place for even small amounts.
 Quoting: A_T_L

That's not how they plan it to work, silly. It will be highly impersonal. CBDC's will be programmed digital money that you can only spend on "essentials" like groceries, or rent, etc. They want to do this for UBI after the planned carsh.

Not saying it’s right but depending on the withdrawal amount the bank is required by law to ask and report it to the lovely IRS. In some cases, when elderly people were withdrawing large sums the bank was able to prevent them from being scammed by unscrupulous con artist but mainly it’s due to the bank having to follow federal regulations or be put out of business
