How is our Crow Corn Corner doing?

It's beginning to put on pollen sprouts. It will go ahead and silk too, but it is very strange. It only got about 3ft tall.

Usually this maize will get 8 to 10 ft tall, but this simply did not.

Probably time to mix up some more rancid red wine vinegar and urine fertilizer.

It will, however, produce some ears fit for the crows at All Hallows.

Alarming news.

I was just filling up the olla to test it for spring when I ran across this report of a chemical spill into the waterways of Mississippi.

It would appear that our waterways are under some sort of coordinated attack.

Be careful what you drink out there.

It could contain toxins.

HERNANDO, Miss. (WMC) - There has been a reported chemical spill in Hernando, Mississippi.

The chemical spill resulted from a fire at Schultz Xtruded Products, a business located near MacCracken Road.

The local fire department quickly responded to the fire, officials say.

DeSoto County officials confirm that the fire is due to a container that housed Hydrofluoric Acid that resulted in the chemical leaking into the Mussacuna Creek.

The The Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality, DeSoto County EMA, and environmental remediation companies are hard at work to contain the damage of the leak and clean up the spill and any resulting damage.

There was the Ohio incident which is still ongoing and now this.

It appears that the waters have begun to be troubled.

Could be a watershed year for change.

You know, the Chinese say it is the year of the black water rabbit.

There appears to be ongoing covert military targeting of chemical repositories in order to use them to attack waterways, especially the Mississippi Delta area. Anywhere from Ohio to Louisiana and beyond is under observation.

These covert actions against waterways will only increase more and more as NATO becomes more involved in the Ukrainian conflict.

This year will see an increase in waterway strikes.
