As far as the Mandela effects are concerned, it is not some dimension or timeline shifting. It is an edit. An unintentional one but it was an edit to this "simulation/Matrix"

Those who are saying the Mandela effect is from millions of people sharing a bad memory are literally programmable disposable NPCs.

The fist to the forehead symbolized a kind of tortured thinking process. It was a way to really illustrate thinking about something so deeply that it becomes laborious.
Art used to be a kind of education when many people were still illiterate. The purpose needed to be easily conveyed.

Rodin was a master sculptor. Casting in bronze is no easy feat, even today, but especially so back in the 1800s/early 1900s. He knew how to convey a message. A man deep in concentration has his fist on his forehead. A man with his chin on his hand is bored or waiting or engaged in light contemplation. Not deep thinking.

When I'm doing my deepest thinking (or even just pushing really hard) while on the can, I put my fist on my forehead. I put my fist on my chin AFTER I've done my most tortured thinking.

That only proves there are a lot of stupid people in the world with shitty memories.

I Had a thinker statue in my living room for a dozen years. It was always hand clenched on head. Those who didn't have a statue can shut the fuck up and face the fact that you are an npc with no eternal soul.
