Are they suppose to be imitating the statue? Cause they did it wrong.

Now please give us your expert opinion on how an entire group of people imitating the pause of a statue that is right in front of them could have gotten it wrong?

I've never seen the Thinker portrayed with a fist on his forehead.

I didn't know that was even a theory until this thread.

It's never been that way.

It's always been with his fist supporting his chin.

Having his fist on his forehead doesn't even make sense.

And Isaiah 11 never read 'And the lion shall lie down with the lamb'.

Sure it does. You think with your mind therefore the fist on the forehead indicates thinking.

The pattern I've noticed with Mandela Effects is that many seem to soften the past. The rough edges are smoothed over for a sanitized version. It feels like the past is being corrected more than being messed with.

With that said, I remember this statue with the anguished hand on head like he was dealing with some major problem whereas now he looks to be in pensive thought, which is a much more positive outcome.

You are right - NPCs would have no idea that anything unusual is happening! They would only perceive the general consensus.

I remember that picture, when they WERE imitating the statue.

The statue, and all IMAGES of the statue changed.

AND, the statue, when it was sculpted, had his head supported by his CLENCHED FIST. It has changed at least TWO TIMES

I remember when his hand moved to his forehead, as the people are mimicking, and when it moved back under his chin, to the present position.

The Thinker is the best example of a Mandela Effect, because it can be proven that it is not the same as when it was sculpted.

As Rodin himself described: "What makes my Thinker think is that he thinks not only with his brain, with his knitted brow, his distended nostrils and compressed lips, but with every muscle of his arms, back, and legs, with his clenched fist and gripping toes."

The statue was one way and when they weren't looking it changed ("Mandella Effect") just prior to the taking of the photograph.

I don't think you understand what was captured. This is the 'exact moment' of the Mandela effect.

I like to call it the dyslexic effect. People who never really knew for sure but they think it was that way somehow.

What it tells me is that people don't actually contemplate art very much and that they listen to Elvis Gospel tracks instead of reading the Bible. That's all it tells me.
