Downstairs neighbor blasted music 24/7 for 6 months straight.

Also revved his motorcycle at 4 am right outside our window.

We have been living in a bus for the last 9 months.

There's noise emitters. Can't remember exactly what they were called but they were sold by Brookstone back in the late 90's. They omit a loud ass pitch when pressed that only dogs can hear. Yes, this will cause the dogs to bark uncontrollably. Leave it on until you feel like turning it off. Do this a few times, and the problem dogs won't want to bark and their owners will likely give them up for adoption.

Can you not contact animal control and have them knock on her door. Some cities have noise ordinances. Check your city website, call the cops.

It's to soon to call animal control because she has not been directly confronted. I have to give her a chance to make it stop, but she has to know it's hurting people. When the dog is quiet the entire neighborhood is what it was, a bucolic peaceful place, with birds chirping.

It's not just her dogs, I've had other dog problems round here, partly due to that Rover app kids use now. They double up dog sitting with their jobs. I had to get some dumb kid to leave a restaurant he worked in to take his howling animal out of the car. Almost everyone does have dogs nowadays as some of you have pointed out. Can you imagine if every dog barked?

I threw a bucket of water over the fence of the last moran, straight into the neighbours kitchen at 2am once. The idiot then had the balls to knock on my door to confront me but pussied out when I offered to fight him.

Same here OP, we had a paradise, beautiful view of the lagoon and ocean, quiet and peaceful. Then the rich assholes moved in, demolished the beach bungalow next door and built a six bedroom mausoleum that completely blocks out the view. Where once was the lagoon and beach is a brick two story wall with sewer downpipes. They even went as far as making the roof high pitched so that even if we built up there would still be no view.

Then they installed a huge (dual fan) air con unit directly outside our bedroom window such that the hot air blows in. Now we have to swelter in the summer months while they sit in the cool air. Then came the dog, today it barked continuously from 8:30am till 1pm. It was quiet for sometime then started again at 4pm till 10pm..continuous.

I have seriously contemplated violence and one day in a heated rage I was about to go berko and cut loose but my wife advised that was not a good idea and convinced me to have a cup of tea and think about it calmly. I sat down to the laptop and switched it on. Instead of the BIOS screen and subsequent desktop loading, it displayed these words in huge black and white text.

THIS IS NOT MY WAY. FORGIVENESS IS MY WAY.

That message floored me. I don't know how the computer did that, because ever since it starts normally. I have been assured that by enduring the onslaught and praying for them (for they know not what they do), the situation will eventually turn around. So I continue to allow the dog and the noise and the insult to my peace in the knowledge that forgiveness will trump evil. I suggest you do the same.

Maybe the dogs sense your insanity and are alerting their pack of "Stranger Danger". You need to go over there and meet the neighbors so they can introduce you to the dogs so they know your smell and that you are not a threat. Stop by one and awhile and bring some treats.

Jesus, record the barking and contact animal control. Amazon has plenty of devices to stop incessant dog barking.

I had a political fundraiser at my house last summer and this guy was there. He seems like a nice guy. I guess the charges were dropped, but people were concerned about this story and weren't sure if we should support him. He told us his side of the story and he was bit by her dog and kept asking her to tame the dog and she didn't.

5 acres outside of town and I live at the back away from the road. Peace except for my labs and they are quiet at night. If they bark more thsn once I get up to see what's going down outside.

Rural is peacful, try it.

My only neighbor within a half a mile moved in directly across the street from me- with 30 dogs, goats, chickens and a pig…and NO FENCE!! Lol

She keeps the dogs in crates to breed them and they bark, no- yelp as if in pain- constantly. At least the coyotes move along after they’ve screamed their heads off. The same coyotes who eat her chickens because she has no fence.

That’s what I thought here in backwoods AZ but in the last 2 years, seems like everyone wants to live here. Thankfully I’m next to 15,000 acres state land but every place else has got people popping up with their people problems.

Sounds like you're choosing to leave. Not being forced.
Do your due diligence and check into your town's noise ordinance. If none exist you can start writing registered letters. If it doesn't stop then you can sue.
