2009 Night Rod Special

Very cool... Love the Z line as well..


I had a buddy who swore by his Z1000.




But I'll always be a Honda CBR guy for the inline fours.

If they weren't so overpriced and overrated I'd love the Harley's.. But I'd take a Victory Hammer over the Night Rod anyday.

I've ridden a GSXR1000 booster... And it'll hang on with that turd all day..


The busa is overrated for being fast.. but only in a straight line.. which is about 30% of riding.. C'mon man.. you can do better than that.

I do like their 1100 Monster.. It's a trick Motard style bike..


And their 1098R is, from what I've heard, a beautiful bike.. perfectly designed.. but it's also 40k.. Want the 1098S? Sure 15k.. but it's not a 'super'bike.

I'm not big on the new bikes, I saw one the other day, it looked like a frigin hotel on 2 wheels - hate it.

Now if I where to come into money my motorcycle garage would contain things like - an old Triumph Bonny with a olive and black teardrop tank - Triumpt 500 Daytona - Yamaha Xs-2 jaffa - 70's honda's CB500, and a CB750 with 4 into ones, and flat handle bars- and a old Kawasaki Z1 900 with 4 into 1's. Actually this list could go on and on, thats just off the top of my head.

I haven't owned a bike in several years, but the fastest beast I ever owned was a KZ1300.

Some good choices there Misfit.. The old CB's were awesome rides.. I've had the pleasure of working on quite a few.

When I was re-building one KZ-1000/J-Model Police/'82 LTD Z1000/ I went around every neighborhood I'd encounter hanging (do you want to sell this?) tags on every KZ above 900 that I'd see.


I wound up w/ a PERFECT J-Cam 82 Police for $400.

A girl & her 'significantwhatever' had bought a PRIMO decked Cop Bike for $1400 at a County auction.

He met another, & left her a note to sell the bike & his car (which was already sold) & to send him the money.

She sold it to me, for $400.00


It was worth $5000.00, in that day's dollars.
