These new literbikes push out ALOT of horses.. SO yes.. Good.. I appreciate the Yamaha alot, any generation is a well built good running bike..



I particularly like the 98-01 YZFR1 and the 06 LE R1.

The one I rode wasn't as cool as this (PIMP)


But it was a FULLY-PIMPED Custom 1800 GoldWing.

Every peice of chrome you could imagine, LED's everywhere, Headers & dual straights.
It belongs to a Family member who lives out at Lake Cherokee (WINDY roads).

He paid something like 51k for this thing.

Weird sensation to ride (sit).

IT has Reverse, for crying out loud.

You want to lean, naturally, but you don't have to. What I found out is that you CAN corner one fast enough that you BETTER lean

I aired it out a bit :)

No worries, I've wrecked befor and will probably again. I pile more snomobiles into oblivion than bikes. As I get older it does hurt a little more.

Looked at the Arcti Cat 1100, but not much snow here so I ride a friends 800, snowmobile.

I guess I'm a speed freak.

Or the 'training wheel' type trike conversion where they leave the rear drive wheel?




And it is weird.. you CAN'T lean.. it won't do anything.. I almost wrecked a custom trike by trying to lean the damn thing.. LAst time I rode a trike I'll tell ya that.

When you're doing 140+ withing a few hundred yards.. Bone stock, scary fast.

The only snowmobile I've ridden was an oldschool Polaris 2-Stroker.. It was gutless.. Maybe 40-60..

I've a suzuking king quad 700, never used the winch yet, but in 2 wheel dive got ito 66 mph. It is a work horse.

And I'm still waiting on a dyno run from that Busa' I think thats bullshit..

I just think it's almost impossible to be pushing that kind of power from that engine..

We're talking big block V8 power out of a little 1.3 liter ricer.. I doubt it..

Oh yeah.. It's easy to type some bright red letters that post your Hp rating.. But to actually prove it.. I need a dyno run.. ..



For instance.. This dude.. running 1300 Hp out of a SBC 400 V8, on the dyno, to prove it. You can actually SEE the chart as he runs. [Unrelated to bikes, but showing my position on proving power]

And tractors? That's just good insurance.. 5 bucks a tow.. Don't have 5 bucks.. your bike stays in the swamp.
