I have decreed for twelve hundred and threescore days wars, pestilences, death, and the greatest earthquake upon the earth until the cup of my wrath is empty and all the earth is a desolation. ““Arise O sons of Islam, Russia and the many nations with you and no longer submit to evil, but learn of the Gentle King of Abraham, Yeshuah Ha Meshiach, Your Father and God. Look not to an Imam Mahdi, for there is no way to the great creator of all things than through the Son, who is the Father in the Flesh, and whose flesh will dwell in Your Temples of your fleshly bodies, and not in mosques.” “Shemah O Israel, hear the breath of My Spirit. I AM who AM, and will forever be the Father of Lights in the Flesh. Honor not the six pointed star of Astarte, six within six by six, for it is the number of the dogs of Orion, and the Red star of the Dragon. You O Israel have worn proudly the badge of Moloch and Kemosh, for you have marked your nation with the Mark of the Caldeans and circumscribers of the occult of all ages." |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1182674 United States 01/31/2011 10:44 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm always suspicious when "all of a sudden" there is a huge rush of all the media and professionals pushing some new theory or product. My doc asked me to take a Vit D test last yr. The next month the nutritionist (who I have to see every 3 months for a stress test, weigh in, body fat check and blood work....just so I can keep and continue paying about 500 a month for my GROUP medical coverage at work) also asked me to get a Vit D test. I have yet to do so. Yea, I'm paranoid I guess but it just seems "off" to me. I think I will wait this one out a bit. Besides, it seems to me that instead of running around adding stuff to our water and telling everyone to take supplements, shouldnt we be asking WHY there is a sudden lack of Vit D in the US. And perhaps, once we can answer that question, then we can discuss how to remedy it. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1250431yes we should but that is not the point of article - the point is WHY our water has been intentionally depleted of that mineral...... |

Why not ? User ID: 1595 Netherlands 01/31/2011 11:01 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Magnesium chloride is the only form the body is able to absorb, so the best thing is to buy magnesiumchloride at a pharmacist and take one teaspoon of this powder in a glass of water every day. Magnesium in any other form needs to be converted by enzyme activity for the body to absorb. With the elderly that enzyme conversion presents a problem and therefore they often suffer from low maglevels and therefore heart- and bone related ills. People with too low bloodpressure be advised not to take this. Read article on all wonderful benefits of maganesiumchloride by Walter Last. [link to www.life-enthusiast.com] |

User ID: 1110850 United States 01/31/2011 11:59 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I didn't know the relationship between the two but I knew they were both critically important. People take way too much calcium and then they don't take any high quality magnesium and that makes an already magnesium deficient situation worse. I read a lot about magnesium at George Eby's site, someone posted that here a long time ago and I've tried to return the favor and share it where I can: [link to george-eby-research.com] Bookmark that and revisit it from time to time to read there, it is a lot to take in, but seems like very important information which I have made an effort to follow. I learned a lot from people posting on health topics here over the years. I was already really interested but there have been a lot of good posters here putting up good articles on the new studies with Vitamin D, etc. In the summer I take about 5,000 IU of Vitamin D, in the winter about 10,000 IU. I have not had a cold since I started taking this a year and a half or two years ago. Other things I take: Vit. C, B-complex, Vit. E, trace minerals, zinc, MSM, etc, it gets to be a lot sometimes but I don't take everything every day. |

Things have changed. When I was a kid, we played OUTSIDE. These days, except for a little schoolyard recess now and then or soccer practice twice per week, most kids just do not get outside to play in the SUNLIGHT. Same goes for adults. If you wear sunscreen while outdoors, you are likely blocking the natural sunlight that helps you produce Vitamin D. Contemporary society is such that we do not get enough natural sunlight. |
