BREAKING! 2 mile wide F4 tornado over I-35 near Moore, OK - Oklahoma City

Don't know if you guys were just watching the live feed, but from what I saw it just demolished a pretty major town.

Went right through a school, movie theater, bank and housing developments. Not familiar with the area or what town it was, but really serious for sure.

Don't understand why they can't build structures that are more tornado resistant. I'm thinking of more like a mound shape strucure. this stuff just happens over and over. I'm sure there were several people killed from watching the video.

Yeah it was 2 miles wide. The damage path is that large. It's not debris that were blown around. There's a swath of neighborhoods flat now shown from the air.

My mom and sis and whole family live in Mustang, about 30 miles southwest of OKC in Canadian county. They are ok for now but golfball size hail did some damage to my stepdad's car.

My daughter just arrived in Purcell, OK yesterday for schooling. It looks like there were tornadoes just north and south of her today. Now I'm wishing that she had stayed home.

I feel the same. I am afraid that they kept the kids in school too, so this is a terrible tragedy :-(
