I Survived A Heart Attack... | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 75464352 Canada 05/12/2018 12:05 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | On Thanksgiving of 2016 I started having significant pain and pressure in my chest. I went to the ER. Quoting: Dr. Acula After tests... doctors determined I had a moderate heart attack. So docs sent me to the cath lab and they looked inside my heart. Turns out I had: 100% Blockage (which was old) 90% blockage 70% Blockage And FIVE 40% blockages. After a couple of caths to implant stents I was gave the all clear and released. The old 100% blockage had bypassed it's self. Which is rare to happen! Turns out I had at least 5 heart attacks before this one. The kicker I didn't have any heart damage. So not only did I survive a 100% blockage... rare! But walked around with it for a year. I had no damage to my heart. I thank Jesus and Bourbon for that. My daily cup of bourbon thinned my blood enough that I didnt die. I was 31 at the time of the last heart attack and weighed 190 pounds... and I was very active. In case your wondering. I walked 15,000 steps a day on average. This can happen to you at any age. Any fitness level. I've seen many cardiologist since and got all kinds of different opinions and they all agree. They don't know HOW I am alive.... much less have no damage to my heart. God and Bourbon. God and Bourbon. I've always said this and I always will. DEHYDRATION CAUSES 99% OF all HEART ATTACKS AND STROKES. KEEP WELL HYDRATED WITH WATER And you'll never have to be concerned...Most people don't drink a drop of water all day. Everything but... |

Not meaning to derail, but that reminds me of this time when my brothers and I were woken up in the middle of the night to all of this racket and I hearing my dad yelling and trashing about in his room. So, we ran to my dad's bedroom and threw open the door to find him yelling and crashing into all his bedroom furniture...he had fallen asleep on his arm and that arm had grabbed the other arm while asleep and he woke up panicked thinking someone was attacking him. We still laugh about it, that and doo I_AM_AN_ILLITERATE_RACIST I_AM_AN_ILLITERATE_RACIST pears, but that's a whole other story. So wow, sorry, IDK how that happened? Auto fill in? When I was 13 I saved my mum's life when she had a heart attack, the Drs diagnosed it as angina and medicated her for that reason, but failed for over 10 years to actually look into the fact that angina is a symptom and not a disease... One month before she died she had further tests which indicated she needed a quadruple bypass, unfortunately it never happened... With my dad there was literally no warning, I spoke to him fine 2 days before hand... He had a daily cup of whisky, you were very lucky OP. Hope your health remains stable bud |

The other question you should ask yourself is how you got so much blockage at such a young age and in good health. You must have very high cholesterol and most probably not enough HDL or good cholesterol. Look to take niacin and eat additional omega-3 fatty acids. |

Quoting: WaitTressSandwhich Honestly i didn't lead that bad of a lifestyle. I worked all the time. Manual labor jobs. I'd dig ditches, mow ur properties... etc. Grew 60% of my own food in a garden. Hunted my own game. Ate very little processed foods... What can u change when ur doing that? Do or did you ingest artificial sweeteners or drink lots of soda? Diet soda? Some Dr's are now saying high fat is fine it's the sugar and artificial sweeteners and soda that kills your ass. |

Incorporate cayenne pepper somehow into lunch/snacks. Easy stuff to do, super healthy. More fruit in general will help the most.
