In support of such a view we can quote the story of Arthur and Guinevere as well as that of Raymond and Melusine. Baring-Gould says: "...The framework of the myth is the story-radical corresponding with that of Lohengrin." The skeleton of the romance is this: 1. A human male falls in love with a fairy female. 2.
