Beyond The Tower (2017)

These stairs lead to the edges of our creation

Stretching the boundaries of imagination

And the naive memories of being timeless

Around and around, higher into the red and purple skies

My mind wanders away with each provocation of my senses

With every step into the wilds raging above me

Into the unknown and veiled from the weak and timid

Through the threshold into a sacred space, cold and slow I ascend

The sights, smells, tastes, sounds, and feels bring me around the spirals of time

Anchors and tie downs here in the emotions we are crossing

Both physical and spiritual are echoing and rippling around me

These seas are the calm left after the storms of chaos moved across us.

When transmutations and holy vibrations reunite the lost and lonely through the veils

In the space between our dreams and memories, our embrace starts and stops the stars

The twinkling is the firing of these endless sparks of decreation and the creation that fills the void

I swam through the purple, black and gold spirals in my eyes into a space between now and never. As I slowly opened my eyes while breathing through the fear and anxiousness, I saw it..

When I was taken to the tower, I noted it on the coast. Waves crashing around it. Ever so lightly rising above the crashing of the waves and wind, a voice sang a song I knew none of the words to but it still seemed to know me. I followed this voice to the very top and through a door made of black glass. Inside stood a dark-haired, beautiful woman...with fire in her eyes, still humming and singing this song for me, or so it seemed. She turned to me fully and smiled, took my hand and said "this is where our story begins"...

And so trapped in the memories of things that were never to be, like a tight knot I started working it slowly. freeing this woman from her tower of lies she sought refuge in...She told me stories of her many other selves, how my journey would take me through time and space and to places never seen by others.

She told me to hide her in a place of my own design, so I created a place and named it after her. I brought her and her other selves to this place, one by one, to heal and be whole again...so she could know freedom of choice and truth.

This will be her story, told through my tired eyes...
