I agree that it's both. Real and a relevant measure point but also a illusion we've created to-as you said, make sense of our surroundings and more. I do sometimes wonder about the possibility of having precise visions or dreams of the future. It happened to me when I was a kid. I can even right now remember some of my Déja vu's despite the huge gap between then and today.
This alone is imo proof that time isn't limited the general description or definition.

I also believe most of us experience visions or dreams that aren't a replication of the future but have nonetheless hidden messages in them and are indeed trying to tell you something.

I'm convinced some people would criticize me of being a conspiracy tard but you know it really doesn't matter. Has my interest in debatable topics opened up a different way of thinking? Possibly but this doesn't end up with me becoming a person who thinks everything is surreal or otherwise going crazy with my thoughts. It's the opposite.

It's okay to entertain an idea or thought. That does not make one crazy on its own. What makes people "crazy", is believing things without knowing the "why's"...I hope that makes sense..

I do believe our dreams are just as real as the world we are typing away in, in fact, they are just different rings from the same tree, if you will, each ring, similar but unique at key points, maybe the tree was in a drought a few years, that change in environment causes the ring of growth is alter slightly..something like that

Sure. What can't be ignored is that many people who frequent sites such as this contradict themselves, me included.

someone tells me Earth is flat or that the inner earth is hollow and it's also the home of e.t's.
I'll ask him or her is your head hollow??
But then I can come up with an idea and will have similar reactions thrown at me. What makes people crazy imo is literally losing themselves while forgetting what made an idea or theory interesting to begin with. Take numbers for example. There are strange coincidences with some events but there are endless combinations of putting together a number.



I don't think I fully understand what you mean but the part I understand is a interesting thought. I have managed to fully control my dreams at least 1 night per week some years back. These were easily the realest dreams I've ever had althought I was doing impossible things like hovering over a city. There was excitement that simply doesn't compare to normal unplanned dreams. So there is that.
