Actually found a great way to store avocados in the fridge so they won't ripen and brown within a 2 week window: Take a bowl of uneaten salad, cover it with seal=wax paper, droopy=style, place the avocados in the gully, then place a clear plate of uneaten deviled eggs on top rapped in seal-way as well. Everything dies and molds, except the avocados. Absolutely perfectly bright green, firm and tasty. |
