They were allocating money to counties and those liberal POS were finding anything to spend that money on, even if they didn't need it. It was all about getting the votes for the next election. Kentucky has to do it as well as every other state. The Federal Government can make no laws, rules or regulations regarding how states voting systems work. It's all done on the state level.

The backwoods urban areas are infested with these issues.

KY AG race outperformed Gov by over 100k. That's the story right there.

Dems will take Kentucky Governorship. They guy on twitter has called it and it looks correct.

The two major metros came in at 66% for Breshear - just what they needed to do.

A bellweather county was Madison. It is home to Eastern Kentucky University and Richmond but is usually a solid red county. The fact that Breshear eked it out and actually won it by a slim margin was telling.

The rest of the GOP ticket will sweep. This includes the state's first African-American Attorney General.

I just listened to Democratic backers call the GOP tactics racist over and over again on the public TV panel. But the GOP ran a black AG candidate and the son of Latino immigrant as Lt. Governor. The Democrats ran whites only. Its so Orwellian to listen to the discussion. A University of Louisville of Professor called Daniel Cameron everything but an Uncle Tom. Very sad.

Beshear won fair and square. He is a young, likeable guy. And people were willing to overlook that his father (a long time politician) helped create the main problem that made Bevin look bad. Bevin was just to harsh in his style and approach. He did turn off a lot of people.

Trump has record support, 25% dems supporting him, around 42% black support, yet Rs still losing by 1-2%. This joke gets old. I wont forget what happened in AL with Moore. They said there was nearly 100% Dem turnout, never before seen, and 300k votes came out of nowhere. On top of that people across state lines coming to vote in AL election.

And we saw what happened in FL Broward, with the 80k Absentees they made up in a weeks time.

Not really. Bevin was not popular. He was making hard and needed decisions on the state retirement system. But his style was very combative. He had a bully persona.

The Kentucky system should be a model. Its pretty solid. No early voting, not same day registration, no pure electronic voting. Absentee seems well controlled. This was not fraud. Bevin just ticked off most of the teachers in the state. And that is a group that can swing an election.

This tells me one thing... The dems are stealing and cheating for votes..
