Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78109820 While I have you here on the line, in your opinion is the pope holier than other humans? NO! Obviously not! No Catholic believes this! The church as a whole (the body of all Christians) is supposedly protected by the Holy Spirit from getting serious doctrinal errors on matters of faith and morals... the “gates of hell” will not prevail against it... Matthew 16:18. But it doesn’t and can’t completely prevent error and sin of human beings due to free will, including the Pope. So since more and more “errors” and downright evil are becoming more prevelant in ALL christian churches you can be sure we are near the end... God won’t allow it... so will intervene. |

Fowler A person who sets snares and lies in wait for prey. Derived from the word "fowl", common prey for trappers in old times. The word also gained popularity in the years of Early Modern English (Shakespheare, the King James version of the Bible) as a symbolic term for a person who maliciously uses deception to ensnare or trap others. Noisome having an extremely offensive smell. "noisome vapors from the smoldering waste" disagreeable; unpleasant. "noisome scandals" |
