Looks like they're testing two people in Randolph county. No indication of who they are, why they're suspected to have it, history, etc., but I really didn't expect it in my mostly very rural county quite so soon. Crap. I may start staying in even more than I already do.

I know of someone close that works at University of Kansas Hospital in KCK. From what I understand the hospital has 20 units of negative pressure rooms for SAR-CoV2, and 20 more on her unit. So if this starts to get out of hand I should have some inside info.

I'm right outside of Wentzville, which is on the edge of the St. Louis metro area.

I went looking for TP today, thanks to Trin's TP thread last night. I tried to order some from Amazon but it was out. I figured that since everyone else was panicking, I'd better get some bc panickers will take it all!

I went further into the rural area to get it bc I figured my chances of finding some would be better, and I was right.

I live on the edge of farm country, so I'm not too worried about going hungry if the stores have problems.

I am worried they are going to close the schools for several weeks. I really wouldn't mind, but with the winter we've had here in N central MO we have used up all of our snow days. I really don't want to deal with kids having to make up a month of school this summer. I know in the grand scheme of things it should be the least of my worries, but I just have this nagging feeling like this is all just over reaction as one domino follows the last just because...

Travelled to Warrensburg MO today to stock up on food and supplies. Folks I was utterly surprised beyond paper goods.. how little meat, can goods, and some frozen good were left. If Trump or Pence tests positive there will be a major run on the grocery stores. I suggest everyone to plan accordingly if not done so already.
